- Early morning in the city of New Orleans is a magical time. Though enjoying lively bar and music scenes will definitely keep you up late at nights, be sure to make time to take an early morning stroll around the city. That is the time, while the crowds still sleep, you have the best opportunity to see and appreciate the beauty and character of New Orleans. Its neighborhoods are charming, historic, lovely, and not to be missed.
Ever wonder what these houses look like on the inside? Just you wait!
There's just no place, like our fabulous city
It's awesome!!
My favourite words of the day "Better to be late than arrive ugly".😄
Haha! You noticed the more detail in her home than I did!!

Fascinating history. Wonderful architectural photographs. It stirs up my desire to travel and visit the legendary city of New Orleans.
Dear Mr. May, thank you! I hope you as well as your family get a chance to visit this festive, historic and resilient city soon!!
Lovely lady!! New Orleans is full of sweet folks
It's something I will ALWAYS remember about New Orleans!!
Simply amazing and so, so, so lucky
It WAS such an amazing opportunity to see the inside of her home! What a sweet lady she was! Thank you for watching!
Thanks for sharing. This vlog brought back so many wonderful and even haunting memories for me. For, I grew up in a double shotgun style home in New Orleans many years ago. It was a wonderful time back then. That house was lost in Hurricane Katrina, I learned, and has now been replaced with an entirely different style house. In fact, almost the entire neighborhood has changed since I left there in the late 1960's. I have returned to visit many times, although the last time was approximately five years ago. Thanks, again, as you have given me a gift that ahs certainly brightened my day.
Samuel, thank you for your kind words. New Orleans will always hold a special place in my heart for sure. I was so grateful to have gotten to see the inside of one of these historic homes and to have experienced such southern hospitality. May your future visits continue to bring you joy!
god i miss living there.. one day... hopefully very soon.. i'm coming back
Wow, how lucky for you to meet someone so generous and hospitable. Thanks for sharing the tour with us - what a treat!
It was truly memorable experience!! What a trusting lady to allow two strangers into her home. Also, I wouldn't let anyone in my home unless I tidied up a bit, but every room in her home was immaculate!!
The sidewalk is amazingly so clean and the house is like from hobbit tiny nice and cozy
You mean the lady's house that gave us a tour? Believe me, it was roomy and airy, yet very homey with all its antiques and treasures. I heard the lady and her husband have passed away now. I hope she knew how special her hospitality was!!
That pristine home is the stuff of my sweetest dreams! How lucky to have met such a lovely lady!
I was Flabbergasted to have been invited in, a complete stranger!! I heard this sweet lady has passed away. She was in her 80's when we met her!
