Excellent Explanation 👌 I am 70 years old Senior Citizen. 👉Just started Learning Cinemetic Videography & Photography on Smartphone from RUclips Videos. I am Very much interested in Capturing Nature's beauty & Temples dities Videography as my Hobby. i notice that your phone in video seems a xiamo 10T pro, same like my. when i use lens, the border have some black shadowns, how you fix that?

Sorry for delayed response.
Indeed there are some black shadows at the edges when using Xiaomi 10T pro. I prefer to zoom in a little while recording in 4k.

What you are saying is correct. But in most of mid range smartphones, the image stabilization, bigger sensor, wide aperture lens is given to only main camera. Other cameras on a phone usually don't get stabilization and have small sensor. With external lenses the main camera gets additional features like macro, wide angle etc. without sacrificing overall image quality.
As for anamorphic lens for smartphones, It is used for giving cinema like look to the videos shot from smartphone. It's mainly for enthusiasts and not intended for everyone.
Does it even fit new iphone models like 12 series?
The mounting clip that comes with this lens is adjustable to slide and fit over the lens. I haven't used it on iPhone 12 series but I was able to fit it on Xiaomi Mi 10T pro in which the camera housing sticks out by 2-3mm.
While recording in filmic pro 24fps.....does it require ND filter?
Yes. I recorded sample footage in this video during 8am in morning and had to use ND32 filter.
@@gearmeup6935 correct.....but what about day time....we cant use ND and anamorphic at the same time???
During harsh sunlight, we either have to add higher stop ND filter or increase shutter speed. This anamorphic lens has 37mm filter thread for adding lens filters. So I used ND filter with the anamorphic lens.

Does this lens improves video quality on ordinary smart phone?
Well in a way it does. It basically gives cinematic view to the footage with wider field of view and resulting black bars on top and bottom. Plus it gives out light flares like seen in movies.

Apart from what I mentioned earlier, there's no apparent improvement in video quality.
