I'm less than an hour away. I've been wanting to get some boat shots though. I've got a newer drone now that has some cool following and circling techniques.

seeing as how hurricanes form over the ocean , I doubt that is likely to happen

Fred Adams you don't own the air above your property so I wouldn't be on your property. The FAA owns that. And since I'm not doing anything wrong you would be responsible for replacement. As long as the drones are not causing a nuisance,
Or being flown recklessly,
Or violating the state privacy law.

Jeff from what I understand it's fair use act. I stated in the description who the band is and what the song is. All music rights belong to them and I put a link to buy their music.
OK, that's cool! I wasn't sure we were allowed to do that. But I don't see why it would be a problem anyway, since people could easily click on another link and listen to the entire song on RUclips; you're simply using audio that's already freely available on RUclips.

Very well done. I have a Yuneeq Typhoon G myself, and was just at Cedar Point a couple days ago. I didn't bring it, simply because I read that Cedar Point, like many public venues, has strict anti-drone policies. Did you do this "under the radar" so-to-speak?
Thank you! And no I moved 4 times and 2 cops drove by and didn't say a word. This was when the park was closed of course. Maybe I just got lucky.
+Adam Wagner Well you did an amazing job. Not gonna lie, I dont think my little Gopro strapped on my Typhoon G can get as good quality images as you got lol.
+Strazman well thank you, but I can't credit for that. That's dji and the phantom lol. The camera and gimbal on this thing are incredible. They make all the difference. I just started trying to edit video so I'm a complete novice. I've always just liked photography.
+Adam Wagner your editing was good....and a good choice of music to fill out the experience. Ya my point about the quality was the fact thst dji makes really good cameras for their drones whereas us Yuneeq users have to supply our own GoPros which are good but not great. i think what also helped this video was the time of day. shooting in the morning with the warm light rising over Lake Erie really was dramatic. And im biased anyway because like i said in my original post, Cedar Point has been my happy place for over 30yrs. Keep filming and editing man. it is very highly rewarding. ok ill get off my soapbox now lol.

Did you have to get any permits? I would like to take my drone there, but would like to know about any difficulties first. Lol
Warren Carr I didn't have any permit. I just went and thought I'd try to fly and see what they say. Multiple cops passed me and didn't say anything. But they weren't open at the time so who knows.

I dunno lol. They weren't open. I thought I'd give it a go. See if they tell me to stop. 3 cops drove by and saw me and didn't say anything so I just kept it going.
