Sugar cane used to be the main staple in my Country's economy back in the day. I grew up eating it the same way and drinking the juice called Guarapo.

Wow i don't know how you people squat over that little hole to poop we have outside latrine here in Jamaica 🇯🇲 but we have seats just like modern toilets that would be a challenge for me using that toilet i lift my hats to you villagers
Not everyone has toilet back in the days, we use to squat and poop in bushes at a distance from the house, the only difference is the language and some of the foods and how th prepare them.
