Phil X helped out the band twice,in 2011(were our beloved Richie was so wasted & coked out of his mind,that Jon had to send him in rehab) and in 2013,were he bailed during a running tour.He learned all the songs in 2 days back in 2011,he never said a bad thing about anybody,doesn't have an ego,he has great energy on stage and he is always professional.During the 2013 tour his wife was pregnant and gave birth to his son.He played the gig,went to his wive & baby for a couple of days and then he came back to finish the rest of the tour.When they asked him about it in an interview, he said:''Well I spent some time with my wife & kid and then I went back to my job,it's not different if I had an office job.'' this is professional attitude. And what happens?All the dumb fangirls want their Richie back,even though he literally doesn't give a shite about the band,the people of the roadcrew(their jobs were on the line because he bailed the tour) or the fans.
***** Dude,despite his lenghty ranting the guy is right in what he's saying.For the record I grew up listening to Bon Jovi and I also have Richies first 2 solo-cd's,but in the last years he's acting more and more like Charlie Sheen.It's no secret that he has a serious drug/alcohol problem,he's not in the band anymore because during the 2013 tour,he started drinking/doing drugs again and Jon told him to either clean up or leave.He wouldn't put up with his behavior,specially after Jon's daughter was arrested with cocaine.Jon has a strictly anti-drug policy he was tolerating Richie but not anymore.This came from the band's management but they denied everything officially,in order to not damage the band's good image,the whole daughter thing is just what they said,to cover things up.Richie needs professional help,go the YT-channel of TotalGuitar and watch the intervews and you will see what I mean. I'm also a big Orianthi-fan and even though I find the term ''viagra victim'' disrepectfull,I agree that Richie is using her to improve his public image & that she's wasting her talent,playing Bon Jovi covers with Richie,instead of focusing on her solo-career.I'm also worrying that her good reputation is suffering,just look how people call her.. I think anyone that had their doubts about the band without Richie had those doubts squished when they saw the shows last tour. Richie has had his day. Bon Jovi is just getting started and I think they'll have an easy time of it selling tickets for their 2016 tour. Their new song "We Don't Run" seems like a good Ol Jersey style salute to Rich for all his bullshit of the last couple of years. I think that was Jon's way of telling him to Have A Nice Day in the truest Jersey sense. We Don't Run is the best song they've come up with in a long time. It's awesome and Richie didn't even have a hand in its creation.

What makes Phil such a great player is his versatility. If you listen to any of his records with The Drills it's so apparent how talented he is. I wish Bon Jovi Would let him cut loose on the guitar more on the band albums

Over the years I have seen many, many live concerts including KISS, Fleetwood Mac and the Rolling Stones to, just to name a few. I have to say that Bon Jovi is the best live band by far. There's nothing worse than going to a live concert and hearing what may as well been the CD. Although I didn't go to her concert, Brittney Spears lip synced the entire concert, and a lot of people walked out furious. What's the point of spending a lot of money just to hear exactly what's on the CD. Another brilliant live performer is pink, she puts everything into a live performance. If you want to hear exactly whats on the cd or iTunes, don't waste your money on concert tickets, just stay home and listen to iTunes.
