cool build! wondering if you could do battery mod? I have two of the same batteries ng GG68B, was thinking if i could put those two in parallel to double the battery life. or 2x na 3000 maH, para 6000maH for ultra extended on-battery life.
interesting, i wonder if it can also be done on the G100 layout. I might need a complete keyboard when doing my thesis, so I am considering the compact full layouts.
My gg100b is still in-transit so we'll see :)
i think your screwless builds would probably work well with the rakk ilis since it has a magnetic top cover so it wouldn't spill out in case your cat drops it lol

Amazing job the sound was so good to the point that it doesn’t sound like a budget keyboard at all!!! What are your thoughts on the Finalkey V65? Was eyeing this board out and could be a good value since it is aluminum and dual mode.
I have one, it's a great sounding board and is very well built. The biggest downsides are if you're using it on battery. The battery life isn't that great, you'll have to charge it every 3-4 days. It doesn't alert you when battery levels are low, it just dies, and it doesn't report battery life over Bt. I don't mind this, but you can't use RGB on battery either. Overall it's a solid board, I just wish it was a bit better wirelessly.
@@DaveAlkema Thank you so much!!! It wasn't an issue to me though since I have an RK68 that I bring to work. Then when I get home I would always plug it on my pc to do some browsing and to charge it. Any idea what's the polling rate of the Finalkey V65 R2 though? I wanted to use it too for rhythm games.

is poron switch foam clacky po or thock? Or same po with poppiness ng pe foam but deeper?
from my experience with my Feker IK75, I had that poron switch foam along with pe foam, it made the sound of the keyboard clacky; though it is accompanied by the cherry profile keycaps and JWK black switches.. aaaaaaaand with some of your backend mods hehehe 😆
