Wow your content is super cool ❤️ Thanks for sharing. When I received my Hydrasynth the first thing I did - read manual from forst to last page (actually I'm doing for everything I have). It helped me A LOT but not always you can understand right away how to actually use some functionality in sound design. So videos like yours making my possiblities wider! 👍(Also would be extremely cool to see setup breakdown especially on part how you are using octatrack sampling possibilities)
Awesome .....I just found your channel. I'm a new fan, definitely I will watch all your videos to learn about this amazing machine..... So happy I got it. All the best Mr. 🎶💯😎🙌🏽
It’s a great synth eh! There’s some modules up on here from my course series and if you fancy diving deeper you can find comprehensive hydra courses here: jamesorvis.com 🙏
I love these and want this pack but am not getting an email response from your site. I've checked my junk box and it's been about 30 min or so. Any thoughts on how I can get them?
Hey! I’m extremely sorry about this! Some email providers block the email and stick it in junk folder. I’d say like 5% of my mailing list has this problem it’s a nightmare. My website is jamesorvis.com if you wanna grab it via there. Drop me an email at james@jamesorvis.com if you have further issues
The patches in the video sound great, but I couldn’t figure out how to purchase this patch bank. The link apparently just requires signing up for a newsletter. How can I purchase the patch bank?
Apologies, I’m still building my website so all sales are via email. You can find a discount link here: cart.jamesorvis.com/james-orvis-hydrasynth-presets-vol1/?coupon=HYDRAVOL1EARLYACCESS
Is your email Vande….@gmail.com? If so email has been sent but no opens recorded so it most probably will have ended up the junk folder. Some email providers redirect to junk. You can go to the new website which is now up instead: jamesorvis.com
So the melody is fed by the elektron? Am I correct? Your vids are highly inspiring. I think I will tend one of your coarses in the future but as I ordered a hydrasynth deluxe together with the Peak money has run out. 🤓
Going through comments and completely missed this one I’m really sorry!! Midi is run from Ableton for these videos and the midi clips are provided too. The sequence presets run internally from LFO sequences
If you want moog sound then get a moog, this un unapologetically digital and harsh which is why I love it. Alot of people buy these then sell it because it's too digital sounding...I personally don't like analog synths other than my ms20 clone
@@justinurra2718 it didn’t sound too harsh to me on this demo! And I don’t have 1000 or more bucks to spend on a behemoth that is monophonic and makes only Moog sounds. I already have Behringer Model D and an SE-02 which I absolutely love, but they don’t have too much modulation options.
Hey :) It crossed my mind but I created these patches to cater for people who perform similar to myself using sequencers and performance macro's as opposed to playing via a keyboard. They are definitely playable via keys but I didnt integrate Poly Afertouch into the patches. Maybe its something I could do in the next sound set that I create for Hydrasynth as its also something I would love to explore more too

Finally found a video on this machine with no/minimal talking and str8 to the point in auditioning the feature of this wonderful device. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I got the Hydra a couple weeks ago and it really is like a conglomerate of numerous analog and hybrid and digital synths combined in one.
I call it my Swiss army synth!
Some sophisticated flexible sounds here
Thanks mate! ❤️
Damn, these are great man!! Subbed for Hydra tutorials and content
🙏
You make it sound really good! The melodies and rythmics are perfect!
Thanks a lot!

Thanks! Yes more YT content coming very soon :) Will definitely be more live tutorials and other instruments that I use.
Hi and congrats on this demo ! Hydrasynth does not have a sequencer, right? What are you using to trigger the sequences ? Thanks !
The LFO’s can be used as sequencers but for most of these I’m triggering via Ableton clips

You just showed me that I don't need to spend on a Moog Sub 37 and better get the Hydra Explorer!

Not yet but I do have a demo pack with 10 presets I will try and fix up that today and send them out for subs

I see you tweak a lot few knobs. AFAI these can be assigned like macros, to any parameter you like, correct?
