@@nikosv7230 this is definitely a First Person Game (not a shooter per-se), but the panic moments outside of the car would definitely be a bit harder with Joycons. I think its possible, but imagine playing Metroid Prime where your only safety net is your car and a tornado can effectively rip it away from you any second, and couple that with messing with a controller. I played it with Mouse and Keyboard, but admittedly, am an old school gamer more accustomed to the sensitivity of mouse and keyboard for First Person. For Third Person / simpler games, controller is definitely preferred, but for precision in stressful moments, I'd recommend Mouse + Keyboard.

Another pacific driver here. First time I heard this on the radio I stopped the car and felt myself physically just be blown away. Didn't expect for a song to make me cry on that day.
Pacific Drive brought me here, and I am so glad I found this. Much Love❤ This song is such a vibe. Always let it run in the background when getting out of the car so I don t hear the scary Anomalies 😭. Thank you for this!
man I was looting and vrooming and then this song came on, it was raining, I started crying. sitting alone in your car. What a good song for this game.
This is honest to god one of the most moving songs I've ever heard. Rarely does a song make me break down in tears and have an existential crisis at the same time. I don't know if the artist(s) who made this will even see this comment, but if you do, know that you made a grown man cry today.
I broke up with my girlfriend two days ago. I was listening to this song as I tinkered on my car in the garage yesterday in Pacific Drive, not really hearing the lyrics, just the music. I loved it. Now I'm actually listening to the lyrics, and I want to just rip what is left of my heart out of my chest.
It's your heart It started being your heart, since the beggining, and always will be It's not about giving our hearts, but sharing them So.. You'll need to keep your heart with you, grow it stronger, and fuller, so it can be shared again Keep up, have fun, smile, be happy (: ( Extended for everyone that reads this ^^ )
@@feartrain1282 I agree mostly, but the in depth mechanics regarding how driving feels and how your car damages gave me similar vibes to movement in Death Stranding, just with a minivan. Obviously two very different games though.
I love the mixing on this track! The voices and rhythms are sublime, it's sooo well done! Total respect and love!!!!!!!! This is one of those Classic tracks, that's not recognised for 30-40 years!! Utterly awesome!!!!
So it is about... 2 step siblings falling in love? Or 2 kids coming from divorced families who are in love and it turns out that a set of their parents were in love at some point, but ended up going in different directions instead of staying together (which ended up in unhappiness for both of them) and the kids make an oath to not repeat the same mistake they made? OR 2 siblings who are just super tight and pledge to not contribute to the divorce statistic when they grow up and develop their own relationships?
@@aWookiee I always thought this was a song about a couple growing apart. They looked at their parents' divorces and made a bloodoathe "to do it better," but in the end they broke up anyways. But two lines suggest to me it could be about step siblings: "our folks," and "your dad was writing to my mom when he first met her."
Damn y’all missing this. Its a boy and a girl both going through the same parental issues, in love partly because of the shared trauma, swearing to do it better, but realizing its not as easy as it seems.
this song wasn’t recommended to me. I saw petey was going on tour and i was like wait he makes music?!? wow this song has been on repeat since. i hope u make a video for it
Video game where you drive and struggle to maintain a beat-up station wagon as you try to escape a radioactive exclusion zone. Damn good game, and this song is in the car's radio playlist. Highly recommend trying it if you like survival adventure and don't mind things getting scary sometimes
Turned on the radio while fixing up the car after a run. It was raining outside and then this song came on. If I had depression, it would have been cured during those 3 minutes. This song is incredible and fits Pacific Drive perfectly ♥️.
Found out my wife cheated on me. She left me and our 5 year old daughter. We are both hurt and cry together every day. I get 3-5 hours of sleep and every time I wake up this song pops in my head and continues to randomly do so throughout the entire day. I'm barely eating 500 calories a day. Ex came to visit our daughter today and looks miserable, clearly regretting what she did. I wish I could turn back time, but I can't. So all I can do is push through the pain and raise my little girl the best I can. I will never leave her.
You're a good father. I hope you and your daughter are doing well. I also hope you don't let this experience jade you towards investing in a relationship again. From one internet stranger to another, you deserve a loyal partner. And one of the best things you can do for your child is to show her that enduring romantic love still exists.
Came here from Pacific Drive.. Don't know how the devs discovered this track but I'm glad they did.
Petey is pretty dope, too! Actually find some of his shorts pretty funny. Hope both these artists blow up :) www.youtube.com/@peteyusa/videos
Do you think this would make a good switch game? Is the interface too complicated for handheld mode?

The perfect song for standing in the rain and watching an abductor soar away with your car.
im with you brother :')

Or as a wind down for when you just barely make it back to the auto shop after a drive where the whole zone decides it really hates you
My god this song deserves more views. Best song in Pacific Drive.
Agree

The perfect song for when your dragging the spare wheel out of your trunk because a random pickpocket ripped it off your car
I second this!

Came from Pacific Drive, trully a master piece song. Fits perfect with the game.
It fits the game perfectly. I'm driving through the woods or fixing a car in the garage, and this song is playing on the radio

Same, what an amazing game with An awesome soundtrack
Same! Amazing what games can do 😀

Good soundtrack, but this is an absolute gem!
Listening to this song from the safety of my garage while storm is raging outside is such a vibe.

It WILL get better. Just take a leap of faith with that statement.
It strongly reminds me of my ex who I broke up with 2 years ago. Still miss her.
bro i broke up too and played the game.
same energy
Driving around looking for lead plating...turned on the radio....now I just wanna go find her and tell her I miss her.
This song is criminally under appreciated
Pacific Drive has entered the chat
Pacific Drive also brought me here, what a beautiful song. This is why I LOVE gaming ❤
I didn't expect to find my new favorite song while playing Pacific Drive. A welcomed surprise.
Unexpected, but a welcomed one*
It hurts so good every time I hear it.
Thank you Pacific Drive, for introducing me to this song and bad.
This song was recommended to me on Discover Weekly. How tf does it not have way more views??? This should be trending
came from the game. see the song’s release day. it has some quarantine vibes, i loved my 2020’s summer
Pacific Drive really is Death Stranding in a minivan. Such a good game.
It feels more like subnautica in a Station Wagon to me.
Soundtrack wise yeah the music definitely hits at the same level. It really elevates the experience by ALOT
To clarify, soundtrack wise Pacific Drive is a lot like Death Stranding. Gameplay wise, the game is closest to a Pacific Northwest Subnautica

Pacific Drive hit me with this gem.
Let be real, we're all here because of Pacific Drive and all glad af we gave the game a chance.

The last one haha. Just super tight. Thats what I got from it anyway.
Yup the last one, two siblings promising to do better than their parents did ("we swore we'd do it better") and not get divorced
I think you guys are reading way too far into the line "our folks"

Lol, but jokes aside, great track and awesome duo
