From what I remember of the original figures and cartoon series (yeah, I haven't read the comics) this one has a more zombie look to me. This could be used as a Tyrant from Resident Evil, or some other big undead bad and all he seems to need is some grey colouring and white for the eye. Just a thought.
For people complaining about Overt-Kill looking "bad", the wave he was apart of was painfully rushed. Almost the entire 3rd wave lacked paint jobs, you'll notice it a lot on Overt-Kill and Ninja Spawn. Personally speaking, I don't think he's as bad as most people say he is but his criticisms are completely justified. Especially since they're charging $40 for him which is ridiculous.
It kills me how bad people are hating on this figure. They don't see what I see I guess. He's super bad ass and I put long gold chains on each arm and he's even sicker. I wouldn't necessarily say he's my favorite Overtkill my manga Overtkill takes that spot but he's WAY underrated. If people don't understand or like him they need to go back to collecting marvel legend and star wars.
Right?! I love this overtkill figure still, I repainted him also. Had a lot of fun doing it. Washes, drybrushes will go a long way already. But I went the extra mile and repainted all the armor and his skintone. Added some chains to finish it up aswell. It is now one of my favorite figures in the collection.
I want to like this figure so bad- but he just seems so cheaply made. Just disappointing. So far- the Violator is by far the best quality mega figure yet. Great size, solid, and heavy. Still on the fence about this one. Just coukdve been done so much better.
I saw this and said nope and this review made that nope even louder. Which is also unfortunate is the idea that MacFarlane who created this character made a figure that is so far from comic accurate in face and body it saddens me because between this and cygor I was really looking forward to these and highly disappointed in both. I just can't in all good consciousness buy and keep either of these. It's like they did violator and just gave up on the rest. I'm done with McF
@@idiot_city5444 this new wave of Spawn figures are more based off their modern comic appearances going after issue 300. I will say Overt-Kill's paint job is lackluster but in my opinion isn't as bad as people say he is. The wave Overt-Kill was part of was painfully rushed and you can tell because of the lack of paint jobs on these figures, especially when you look at the original prototype Todd showed off teasing wave 3. Wave 4 looks way more promising though, can't wait for Plague Spawn!
@@idiot_city5444 Not slightly reimagined.. Todd has made it clear he will make them as he sees fit. The spawn on a chair is an example of that because he literally mocked people who complained. The Vindicator is beautiful but nowhere near a slight variation, he literally could have called it a new character and no one would have batted an eye.
@@hallowseve5801 I agree I just purchased the last mortal combat spawn with the chains because they finally got close to the real comic colors. I like the new wave but Todd really seems to have given up on the bigger figures.

Overtkill Great ✨️figure review spot video 🏆
Nice looking figure! Thanks once again Spot!
What a pretty cool figure!

Most of the new Spawn figures are based on what the characters look like in the modern comics, and yeah, Overtkill is basically a zombie now.
It was Over-kill. They changed it due to a chacter in marvel having the same name.
I would like to know spot, you talk about how the chest especially feels Hollow but does the figure feel fragile or like it could easily break?
He's awesome I just got him yesterday
I really wanna see a review of the McFarland plague and omega spawn figures when they come out
I wish they would make the original designs
cool
Just bought one for £20

Aren't these supposed to be slightly reimagined versions? That Violator looks different than usual, way more beefy

This overkill is resurrected and zombie like just like the comics.
