O yeah its tough with the left, spinners will get you. I built a silicone bumper to add at the bottom of my IRT spinner to see if I could leverage harder and keep spirit breaking on those Bluefin and rest somehow while hooked up when they run hard. Horsed in a 60 class and using my idea, it was like a hack resting the spinner on the rail. Everyone was like what? I do bluefin trips every other year or so in Diego CA and seeing Florida and Austrailia fish Big fish on spinners , deckhands and skippers think your Ignorant for trying is why I chose the reel and did the MOD. We have 9 spots left on a 8 Day trip for multi species with many family members and friends. If you want to try an Aleijos Rocks long range trip? Im sure you have the gear which is what scares everyone who isnt geared up away.19 months out.
