@@Pepitossj4 Also atrocious regional pricing on PC. It's the same price as Tekken in some regions despite being a $50 game against a $70 one (and Tekken was already more expensive than the average). It's like they tried to fuck up as much as they could on a product that's already a $50 update of an old game.
I was curious on your since I've bought the game recently and so far I'm kinda enjoying it. Having played online yet nor a main but I'm excited to see how far I go
Being a French Bread fan, it really breaks my heart to see the playercount so low. On average there are as many people playing UNI2 as there are playing Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash. The release date being a little before Tekken 8 and all the decisions taken by ArcSys concerning the PC port made for an already awful launch. But the uproar of people complaining on Twitter and review-bombing the game transformed an already niche game into a disaster. At the moment, most fans aren't complaining about the bugs and issues we saw at launch, but more about a real lack of players. A shame for what should've have been the return of one of my favorite fighting games ever. We're litterally having the Melty Blood case again with both being top tier franchises. Praying for EVO to bring more beginners because at the moment we only have UNI veterans playing. EDIT: Also I'm fucking pissed at all the people who haven't changed their Steam reviews from January 25th.
Hi, I’m new to the game, I bought the game just today. As far as I’m aware, the bug mentioned at 2:23 is still something that happens. I jumped into Training after I opened my game for the second time today to try and play around with Merkava and see if I could main him, and the glitch happened. The game was constantly resetting my position, assuming I was pressing every single button at once, and there was nothing I could do besides restart my PC. This is just something that happens. If it happens, as far as I know, restarting your PC is the only way to fix it. It’s been 5 months and this has still yet to be fixed. The fact that you can only fix this by restarting your PC is outright ridiculous and this needs to be patched ASAP.
Half of the first 4 minutes is just him repeating how much he couldn't stress enough. It's no wonder he has to reassure us 2-3 times he, in fact, likes the game. I agree the release was bad sure but goddamn. LOL
I love this series and am super hyped it got a new entry with rollback and its crusty launch was fixed so quickly, I'm just worried it's never gonna have a change to get very popular between launching just after GBFVR (a way more popular anime fighter) and Tekken 8, as well as SF6 getting a big new update, GGST still getting more content, etc. I think it's a high-quality and unique enough game that it could certainly stand on its own if enough people gave it a shot though, and with the promise of a lot more support going forward for it I hope it manages to keep people's attention and build more of a foundational community.
So, I kinda disagree with the port being "good": yes it's true that the network issues have been finally fixed, and the the gameplay has ALWAYS been good in UNI(now even easier to approach with UNI2), but overall the PC Port has REALLY low quality. First of all, the game has no option for Borderless Fullscreen, which is absolute BS because it's a pain if you're tabbing to another application, after that the issue lies with how the resolution works in UNI2, which is exactly how UNI works: it just stretches the window to the resolution, but does NOT upscale the sprites, meaning that you will have 720p sprites on 1080+ or upper, making the graphics quite crunchy for a game that came out in 2024. Tl;dr : UNI2 Good Fighting Game, Bad PC Port
The port's still semi broken lol, a few weeks after the patch me and my friend were playing and then MID ROUND the kicked us out of the rooms and then crashed immediately after, another time that same friend tried to kick a random from the room AND THEN HIS GAME JUST CRASHED like BRUUH
It's really unfortunate that this game released between GBVSR and Tekken 8. Atrocious regional pricing and bad port aside, it already felt like a terrible deal at $50 in comparison to the other two.
Enough time has passed, Under Night In Birth II has now been patched. Can we now all admit that Under Night In Birth II is the new greatest fighting game in the world for all eternity, that anyone who disagrees with me is wrong, and we need to spread the word worldwide like it's the newest wave of Kagura Bachi fever? Matter of fact, spread some more Kagura Bachi love to Japan too! So strap in, get your VPNs, and gogogo, boys, tell the whole world this: Lobotomy Kaisen is dead, & LOBOTOMY IN-BIRTH HAS BEEN BORN!!!!!!!
i want this game to be more popular soo baddd
Let’s hope EVO boosts popularity
No crossplay + bad pc Port + same week of Tekken 8 release
Bad combination
@@Pepitossj4 it’s Main Stage at Evo tho -_-
@@QuandaleDinkle yeah dont get me wrong i want the Game to succeed too. Just saying why is not that popular right now

Glad the version everyone wanted play works again!
Surprised he didn’t make a video called “The DBFZ Rollback Patch cannot be saved” tbh
Ah a Gekko Squirrel video! *turns volume down so I don't become deaf*

Leaving a negative review when the online functionality of a game doesn't work is not review bombing.
Glad a game you like finally works
Thanks for this update Gekko. Please keep up informed, cause that PC crashing one, if it's there in ANY capacity scares the shit outta me!

It still doesn't help that for some reason they decided to let this game release a day before taking 8
I only bought Tekken, now I'm thinking about this game

This year every fighting game release will have network problems it looks like
No cross-play 😢 I'd want to play on stream but I'm on ps5
Time to buy now, might be as good as it gets lol
Can you change the in game resolution on the PC version? I remember reading that you couldn't go to 1080p

Any updates on how the pc port is these days?
I NEED THIS GAME TO GO ON SALE FAAAAACK

Somehow under night in birth 2 returned😄😁🤯😱
What was the DBFZ fiasco? I thought it was working well and it's 'just' spectator mode that's broken.
Sounds like it is almost in a good state. Price point still too high at the moment seeing all the issues the game launched with and still has.

actually do that it sounds fun
Fighterz works fine 4 me aside from visual stuff like the flashing sprites and slightly weird transitions
Uni is just the blazeblue of french bread. No sequels just title updates.
