I’m now a 27 year old single dad and this song in particular has saved my life on multiple occasions over the last few years. I had a call today about a new job i start on monday and life just feels like it’s falling back into place again. I had to come back today to listen and remind myself how far I’ve come, You really can’t give up no matter how hard it gets. I feel such a strong unexplainable energy every time I hear one of his songs. No other artist has impacted me the way Mac has and I am forever grateful to have somewhere to retreat to.

I overdosed on heroin a few months after this album dropped. Got straight for a while, then relapsed. Got clean again, something like 6 months. Started a new job, making good money. Things looking up. Ended up meeting a guy selling 30s, fell into my old ways once again. Just quit the job 2 days ago, trying to get away from everything and do things right this time.
