Just a thing to mention, if the car does't have the rear camera installed from factory, this mod will not work. You need to wire an extra cable.

Do you know how to mount the extra cable? I tried this mod but it did not work as you explained, i do not have an OEM camera. Many thanks!

Maybe a country specific coding thing. I'm in the UK and my M2 switches them off when I go back to drive or neutral.

Great Video! It really is a DCT issue LOL. Manual OG would shut off the camera and sensor when putting into neutral.
I have a manual and it continues beeping like this one. I dont have a camera, so im gonna have to add the extra cable too for this mod to work

That's not right bro. My LCI N55 is manual and it doesn't turn of the PDC. Made this retrofit but it didn't work for me. When I press is, nothing happens. The green LED stays on.

Hi, I saw your Video and found that interesting. Bought myself the same part, when I change to reverse, light goes on but when pressing the button the beeping remains beeping. Any idea? Is it possible that coding is necessary?
Hi, as far as I know pressing the button should turn things off. Does the light of the button turn off when pressing it? No coding is required (as you can see in the video)
Thanks for answering. Meanwhile I found out, that this only works with the camera option, which I don't have. So I have to add another cable to make this work.

My Og m2 had a software update in 2019 and no longer beeps once put in neutral.
Interesting. Maybe BMW changed this along the way.
