Thank you madam for sharing your knowledge. I have some doubts which if you can please clear 1. Is the amount of accommodative response same with the value of the lens which neutralizes the reflex or we are subtracting it from + 2.5 diopters 2.what will be the value of accommodative response if the reflex gets neutralized by plus 0.25 diopter lens. 3. In which cases we should do dynamic retinoscopy and upto what age
In MEM there is no prescription we note result as amount of accomodative response and analyze in terms of lag and lead of accomodation to diagnose associated disorder with that.
Dynamic retinoscopy is to check the lead or lag of accommodation Near retionscopy to check the refractive error like mohindra retinoscopy Radical retinoscopy: is use to find out the refractive error even by going off axis. This types of retinoscopy is preferred in patients with media opacity
very informative and your teaching method is also easy to understand for us

Have you got the answers to your questions?
Please reply!
Ma'am agar MEM k accomodative response mei 2.0D aaya iska meaning kya hei in 40 cm working distance?
an you make video of us of concave mirror of retinoscopy as like plane mirror
can*
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
What would be final prescription in MEM retinoscopy considering reflex neutralized with +1.25ds
In MEM there is no prescription we note result as amount of accomodative response and analyze in terms of lag and lead of accomodation to diagnose associated disorder with that.
OK great, so we are left with old school static retinoscopy for prescription.
Yes
If working distance half meter so priscription will be -0.75ds
Difference between dynamic , near and radical retinoscopy??
Dynamic retinoscopy is to check the lead or lag of accommodation
Near retionscopy to check the refractive error like mohindra retinoscopy
Radical retinoscopy: is use to find out the refractive error even by going off axis. This types of retinoscopy is preferred in patients with media opacity
@@EyeSpy0110 Thank you so much 😍 It is so useful ❤️
