I just love how justin writes his concept albums. Been a fan ever since his old youtube channel and i was devastated when he deleted it. I texted him saying that his work means the world to me and he got back to me saying he will continue making music some time later in his life and the people who are meant to hear it will hear it. So here I am, listening to Tallah and now getting to dive deeper and deeper into the rabbithole that is the story of the upcoming album. I´m so excited, much love to Tallah ♥

So I was late to Tallah. But ever since I am addicted. I can't get enough because of the empowering feeling I get when listening to Matriphagy. I am patiently waiting for my hoodie. And now knowing and learning the album in greater detail. And seeing how down to earth you all are. I feel safe to say. You guys are what is keeping me alive during this pandemic. You guys are what is helping me since my band Perspectives NY kicking me out. You have been an inspiration as an aspiring vocalist and someone who finally achieved his dreams and saw the business side. It's beautiful to see you guys still be you. I hope that one day I get to meet all of you give huge fucking hugs smoke big fucking nugs and share a stage. Because tallah is my new slipknot and I don't say that lightly. Peace love and understanding. We don't rise together if we don't climb together.

Love this idea of bringing us closer to the story and all the physical objects. It’s cool and reminds me of how heath ledger prepared himself to play the joker he put himself in his head as the joker. Like you truly put yourself in the mind of Kungan to make this. I’m excited for Matriphagy

there are no words to describe my love for this band and the hype for the new album ...i usually dont like this style of genre but you guys completely one me over, especially Justin, live the energy and charisma that he brings ...... thank you for existing Tallah
I really can't believe just how amazing Tallah as a group is, I've always admired Justin for his work and I take alot and I mean ALOT of inspiration from his art, it drives me to try my hand with music and develop my ability to draw the things I feel inside. The concepts Justin has come up with has stuck with me ever since I first heard him back in like......2013? I think?? I believe I was 11 or 12 when I found his first channel. Needless to say, I love you guys, every single one of you, you've all become a serious inspiration and I still have the pre-order sticker on my guitar from before the ep dropped. Please keep it up, I'll buy every single album you produce. -Sabbath 🖤
I really appreciate when band goes over and beyond doing concept albums. It creates this sort of jigsaw puzzle where one can redeem philosophical ideas from each song, but once you see the entirety, then there's so much more to it :D
And to top that off they got great performance! Keep it going :P

So lobifu WAS the rabbit! I’ve had that theory since I was trying to solve the scavenger hunt.
My theory on the metaphorical side of the concept is the mother representing the world, modern society, or even the digital world we live in. Kungan of course being the one who bears the weight of the expectations of those things. He struggles between his internal self and the external self that his mother wishes he was. But by the time he completely conforms to what his mother wants from him (the act committed in The Silo), he becomes something else entirely. He's no longer who he wanted to be or what she expected of him. So what I take away from it is becoming someone unrecognizable (a monster) by caving into society's unrealistic expectations. Probably not what was intended but that's what I got from it. Would love to know the actual intent with it though!
Okay so this is really cool to me that there’s this whole storyline behind the music. I’m brand new. Like literally brand new, I have never heard of this band or album until basically today until someone I know recommended to me and I listened to Matriphagy and absolutely loved it and then they told me to come over her and watch to concept videos

The more I see, the more I love Justin´s work. There are 2 things I really like in this world: Metal and stories with tons of Lore. You just managed to blend them into perfection.

Dude I fucking love this album. I’ve been listening to it all the time since it dropped. I love the darkness, the gore, the graphic depictions.i love hearing of the dark side of the imagination.

This is great. So unique and interesting. I just accidentally stumbled upon you guys a couple of days ago. Thank God! I've been so over everything (musically) for a while now and man you ticked all the boxes for what i want to hear. Even my wife loves it so we are both down the Tallah rabbit hole which is a double bonus coz its even more special when we are both into the same shit. In our 22 years together its happened 4 times. Slipknot, He is legend, Dead Kell and now Tallah so thanks 🙂 and gday from Australia.

Holy fuck. I only found this band a couple days ago and I am already in love. I love conceptually complex music and this band is some of the best i've seen!
Something I love about Justin's creativity, is that he could perfectly be Kungan in a metaphore

The concept of this album always reminded me of Johnathan Davis' story on Daddy and his other tracks he was physically and sexually abused as a child by I think his stepdad

So my thoughts are Kungan turned schizophrenic and cannibalistic from the physical/emotional abuse, all his life..
And he has auditory and visual hallucinations of Lobifu telling him to seek revenge on his mother by killing her and eating her, so he can escape and have a life of his own. I feel like Tallah may be way sicker in the head then Kungan. But what if he didn't turn Cannabalistic. What if all along he already was ,and his mother Tallah was the one who taught him to eat people since childhood. And in the the end she get fucked over, murdered and devoured by him. What if they both were cannabal murderes from the very beginning. I feel like Kungan devouring his mother is the conclusion to him feeling devoured by her.

Probably not but it would be fucking awesome
What if Lobifu was Kungan's thoughts? Like. All along it was him but he believed it was another part of him that he burried deep down for so long. Sort of like when if you put enough energy into a something it can become a reality? Lobifu is Kungan's darker part of his mind that he has suppressed. But after being in this establishment for soooo long, and dealing with his mother's abuse he slowly started to snap and eat his mother. He ate his mother as payback for never being able to go outside. Now assuming he has been in this establishment since birth possibly. He never went outside but his mom did(as she had the code) to run errands and such. So he ate her kind of as a "fuck you now your ghost or spirit is trapped here forever and gets to feel what I feel" sort of thing. Now he has to figure out how to leave be without the code. Unless you were to hide the code within the album somehow and the second album would be Kungan escaping. Just a thought.
Very interesting. I’d theorize that Lobifu talking to Kungan is sign of his own insanity, him hearing voices. Nonetheless, I definitely agree that the next album will probably be about Kungan escaping.

yo quick somebody help me with this so when does the police get in the story cuz in these videos we hear they come in at the start witch is the end but in too quick to grieve he talks with the police about how he killed her but i guess its just something from the start/the ned right? cuz justin says that in that song when he talks about the kill its from the past
but at the end of red light does he kill him self? cuz if he did then that would mean that the police left him there so i can see that there is someone that im really not getting

Knowing justin I think there's a big possibility that's gonna be how the tallah albums be like after matriphagy there could be a album explaning what happens before matriphagy or explaining more about that fuckin stuffed animal yk so that's a huge possibility I'm hoping for

Hey Justin! Sorry about the stupid question, but if Kungan can't leave the house and his mother is handicapped to the point where she needs help getting dressed, how do they get groceries and other essential goods (like soap)? Online shopping? :D
