The person at 22:40 is not James Barry (= Séamus de Barra) the composer from Cork, Ireland.
It is myself, Donal O'Callaghan, a musician also from Cork, who studied at Copenhagen University in 1978-79, and visited the Holmboes in June of '79.

It doesn't suggest that these are all people who visited Holmboe, though? At least, that's not my understanding.

Well, some of the black and white ones are clearly taken elsewhere, but you do seem to be right about the colour ones, and I've no insight as to who is actually in that photograph.

@@orfeocookie Meta May Holmboe was a very good photographer (Some of her rather abstract nature-work is published in one or two short monographs, one alongside short pieces composed by Vagn.) She was keen to get a photo of each of the two guests (post-graduate music students whom the Holmboes had invited to dinner that day) with Vagn, one of which appears here with myself (aged 23 in 1979). She was a lovely woman, warmly hospitable and an excellent cook! In response to our compliments on the great flavours of the main dish, I recall her saying that she went with a rule she was eager to share, to 'never use fewer than six spices, and never more than fourteen'! She had also designed and made by hand a large rug for the floor in front of the altar of their local church. She brought me there to take a look at it during the afternoon. She was a very good visual artist (and I understand a pianist too, but she gave up playing piano to allow Vagn compose without aural interruption.)
