When seeing the sign which marks the neutral section, you do the following, as soon as the section starts (or just before it), you go all to idle and open the "Hauptschalter" then you observe the catenary wire voltage drop to zero. When it comes back you wait a few seconds and then close the "Hauptschalter" again. So no mucking about with the Pantagraph, one would follow the procedure and then just flip the Zs to start. It just takes about 20 seconds for the loco to startup again

The flashing 1000hz just means that the Brake line pressure is in the Schnellbremsungs niveo

The first Brake fault was because the Brake was slightly below its operating conditions, in that case just overcharge it for 3-4 seconds

since you managed to play with Chaos factor x99, here is a million dollar question for you (for imaginary chocolate bar 😃 ) that NO ONE on the forum has managed to clearly answer, so here's the thing:
for some reason, maybe cos I have OCD tendencies, I thought it was a good idea to test Sifa Zwangsbremsung on the BR 101 itself... y know that little thingy that if you ignore it, it will give you penalty brakes, but (usually) if you press Q (Sifa button), the traction lock and brakes release, and you are still able to move, albeit slower, if you react quickly... BUT... even though I entered correct data for the service (some more experienced members on the forum confirmed I DID), for some reason, even if I quickly press Q, the Traktionsperre disappears, but ZSG/PNEU is still on and brakes dont release (and ZSG/PNEU should really mostly be about PZB Zwangsbremsung, as it makes the train stop)
I mean, I tested at 160 kph, and like once or twice I managed to recover at 40 kph... at 130 kph it is up to train Jesus if you manage to still move or not... and like 120 and lower I managed to recover only once by some miracle
so, my questions are actually two:
1 - is there anything I can do in those couple seconds, provided I of course press Q first and zero throttle, to make the brakes release faster?
2 - as far as I know, Sifa Zwangsbremsung, as long as you press Q soon after getting the penalty, you should still be moving, and the brakes should release fairly quickly, not slam like crazy and make you stop... do you think I missed sth in the setup or that this behavior is strange? or even buggy?
I tried literally everything, from the internet, to manuals from other games, even real manual for 101 that can be found in places 😃 I still havent figured this out, and it is driving me crazy, because literally no manual addresses this, as if it was the littlest thing not even worth mentioning... and y know, even very good guys sometimes get Sifa Zwangsbremsung and they SHOULD know what to do
if you can help me, would be greatly appreciated 😃
P.S.: also tried the following - looked into the cab car, unlocked brake key there, released brakes also there, locked the brake key back... when sth popped up in the loco, I also tried releasing all carriages, aaand, I almost hoped it would work, but it hasnt... so pls, at least some advice would be nice... I mean, this loco is done exceptionally, and I loved original 101, and once I get better hang of this one, it might be my new favourite, but because of my insufficient knowledge I cant really say if this is a bug or sth I missed

Hmm now that is an odd situation, as you said once you come to a stop, the brakes should release and you should get moving.

    • @RazielKainus
      @RazielKainus 2 месяца назад

@@TheBritishAce it is a Sifa Zwangsbremsung, which shouldnt mean a stop most times... if you get it, but manage to press Sifa button quickly and zero throttle, brakes should release and you should be able to apply power
I know there is some delay in that cos it takes a couple seconds to release those brakes, so you are going to lose some speed, but Sifa Zwangsbremsung should be a situation where if you come to your senses quickly and press Q, you should recover while still moving
what happens tho the brakes slam hard and even if I press Q like a second after the penalty applies, I cant get the brakes to release and I grind to a halt
which shouldnt happen most of the time with Sifa Zwangsbremsung... PZB Zwangsbremsung is what brings you to a stop 100%, but Sifa should be sth that is recoverable
but it isnt, and I have tried almost everything

How do you recover the brakes in the BR101, everything I do just has it hissing air all the time, I tried isolating Sifa and PZB but it made no difference.

    • @TheBritishAce

PZB Acknowledge, also perhaps press Brake Overcharge? Should be in the manual

Its not made by dtg and if you watch the preview stream you can see how much effort and time was put into making this dlc. I think that 30£ are justified especially when its an expert loco.

Honestly, I think it's fine. In a flight simulator I think a third-party addon with this level of detail would cost just as much if not even more.
