OMG! As a person that doesn't know anything about music production, this is FASCINATING!
He seems to know quite a fair bit if you ask me.
He was saying that he himself has no clue of music production and admires Kasgar for his seemingly huge knowledge, not disliking his tricks xD
Lol he has songs on NCS
He don’t know but you know and that’s important!!!🤣
Still listening your Liquid & Beyonds like crazy. You're THE BEST
Glad you like them! I hope to record a new episode soon! :)
Kasger Yay! Can't wait💜
Holy shit. The melody at 5:25 is the same as "The Shape Hunts Allyson" from Halloween 2018 which came out 1 year after this video.
Good find haha! It's a super simple arp melody thou, so I'm pretty sure it's just a coincidence!
As someone who just started.
this is insane how fast you just throw stuff together
It's indeed fascinating how he just quickly puts something random in there, and it fits. :p
Epoxygleu no it isn't, but if you watch him do it, you'd think it is.
He has songs on NCS 3 years before this video :v
2:30 reminds me “Van Halen - Jump” 😂
sounds like a game menu screen music
Hey kasger you have been a great inspiration for me for some time now, wish to see more of you in the studio these videos are great!
Thanks alot man i always got confused on where to start on dnb and end in resulting so many stuff and couldn't place them efficiently, video helped me alot
that second bassline you made is amazing!
awesome video bro thankyou, still useful 2 years later ha
KASGEEEEEER ♥️♥️♥️
Very nice to see your workflow, always a good thing to get inspiration from other producers :)
this is quite an interestig way to start out making a new dnb track, i often start out with the chords (mainly the melody) before i get into the good stuff (the drums, the bass, etc)
Sounds awesome 😍
this was so much fun to watch, you are very talented
I love your mixes have changed my running game. I just get lost in the music never stop
Glad you like them! Hopefully I will have time to make a new one soon :)

I mean really just add some reverb...

Oh delay too
nice one, its nice that you go abouth it fast but naturaly. people in tutorials always concentrates on specifique things. you go abouth making a good song of a specifique genre instead and its a lot better to watch.
great tutorial! Thank you!
Amazing work, thanks for the tips! God video bro
Your videos are beyond helpful.
omg thats what its called!? think break!? Its been one of my most fav parts of liquid dnb! this video is amazing. I only wish to be this good in near future!
Nice you seem to be able to lay down melodies easy,I feel like I need to learn keyboard properly!Really like your video s
Your a dope producer! Your tutorials are just as dope! Thanks for uploading !
Cool track!
please please please keep making these kind of vids. they are awesome :)
Hello Kasger. I wanted to thank you for your tutorials and all the inspiration you give to us aspiring artist. I love drum and bass so much that I quit my management job in the food industry to pursue my education in music. The problem with the audio schools out here is that they don't teach you how to produce music but rather how to get a job in the audio field. After graduation I felt very disappointed in my decision to pursue music but thanks to your videos, I have found hope to continue following my dreams. Two months ago I downloaded logic and started to follow your teachings. I know I have a lot to learn along my journey in music and I look forward to what's in store for me next. I know I don't have your permission to post my rendition of your tutorial song to my Soundcloud but I don't have many followers didn't know any other way to get it to you, so I didn't see it to be a big problem. I was wondering if I could get some feedback on what I could do better. Thank you so much for your time and hope to hear from you soon mate.

Good luck man
keep going bro. anything out we can listen to for support?
I love your tutorials man! I'm learning so much about Drum & Bass! Could you do more tutorials on different types of synths that are used and different styles of basses? like Reece bass and maybe hoover?
Sure thing, I already did a hovering bassline in another video :)
Amazing man
Extremely helpful, thank you kind sir!
Incredible, as always.
Thank you very much for the work you do.
A good idea could be to make a track using vocal samples.
As netsky I refuse, come back home, starlight the power of sound.
I do not know if you understand me, but I think it would be a good idea.
Thank you very much and keep doing this! You do very well!
Hey, I get you. I tried to add some vocals samples to this track but couldnt really find any that fit it. Maybe next time :D!
this was very helpful, thank you.
Dope video! Needed this
very impressive
I love your DnB tutorials ;D pls do more
Hi Kasger - I really enjoy your tutorials - glad I stumbled upon them. And Cascades and Where Are You are BANGERS! I am fairly new to music production and one aspect I am trying to learn more about is using different chords. Are there particular chords you like to use in combination? Maybe you can also consider for future tutorial? Thanks so much.
I'm gunna need that DC Breaks kit
Yeah man, it's great :D!
I have some for you if u need man;)
hmu with that
Do you also have some for me?
same
Ur good people dude Good vibes thx
Damn you make it look easy
Dude you are awesome wow ^^
Omfg!! Amazing bro, like
Hey man just found your videos, they are great! Just recently switched to FL vom ableton (work flow is way better imo). What kind of mixer preset are you using? The color coding seems very helpfull
That song is so awesome! Have you ever finished it?
Cool Video Keep it up man
That's so cool
If you wanted to get something that was off a film or another song to use( like that warface d and b tune) how would you do it
Do you use stock VSTs often? The Image Line stuff is really lacking man, get some "expensive" alternatives and watch your cheap digital sound get a lot neater. (I do use FL, just not the image line plugins)
Nah I rarely use them either :)
9:30 yooooooo tha sounded too good
Thank you for the tutorial !!!
You're welcome man, thanks for watching!
Subbed! good work!
where did you get a think break this clean, or how did you get it that clean? could you maybe do a video on that?
EDIT: I can never get the breaks to work somehow so i just end up trying to get the drums right by all programming, but that does sound a little stiff at times.
You can find a lot of classic drum breaks here :)
www.junglebreaks.co.uk/breaks.html
Kasger thanks alot, im gonna check it out!
Also another question, do you only use the 3-4 notes that are in the same chord while layering synths? Or is it allowed to break that?
Hi pass all your breaks, almost extremely i would say, then EQ more as needed/if needed
Nice!
Great video!
Thanks homie :)!
Where did you get the drum and bass pack?
I would say you need to use choppier drums, maybe pitch your snare up a bit, and layer layer layer
Sweet beat 😉
yo man, this is more like mainstream drum and bass, its really good, but id love to see some dark liquid some day.
stranjah is pretty good
love dnb!
damn man, u just casually slapped together a total banger, respect!
Sounds like a combination of Castlevania that has been mixed with a Drum n Bass track
10/10 vid.
my problem is where do i get the sounds? i do not know anything about music, but i just need to sounds to make music.
how to make the kicks the hit hats everything, or where do i can get it?
Well, first you need a DAW, which stands for Digital Audio Workstation. Your daw is your center, like the brain, there you will make your music, use your plugins, your samples, effects, etc. I recommend you FL STUDIO or Ableton Live 10. They both have trial versions if you want to explore them. For drums, kicks, hi hats you can find lots of stuff in Internet. Look for samples in web pages like Cymatics, looperman, soundshock audio, samplephonics or black octopus. Some will cost, some others will be free. You can also find loops of synthesizers or other instruments on those web pages. For making melodies, you can use samples or plugins. In plugins, I recommend you Serum by Xfer, (which has a free trial in their webpage if you want to check it out) or Sylenth 1 by Lennar Digital. I also recommend you to learn some music theory. This will help you to make good music and melodies, and to understand music better. You can learn from others in RUclips, or by talking with people with knowledge in music theory. Also, have clear which genre you want to produce. From my own experience, knowing which genre you want to produce will save you a lot of time and effort. I hope I helped you. Good luck producing!
@@wolffhart Thank you so much, i'll try what you say!
i have the Lmms, it's a free daw.
you using some kind of FLP format with all the mixer tracks already filled in?
what drums are you using in this, i cant find any good drum sounds?
Hi, awesome video! What programme are you using?
FL Studio 🙂
@@Kasger thank youu 😊
Can I ask how did you manage to set in massive that it will show you lead and this stuff ?
Yo, where did you get that sytrus preset used for the main bass in the end?
I would highly recommend making ur percussion louder to make it less of a rigid two step
Also I request downtempo/triphop videos.
What is the name of Massive pack he use for basses?
Hello where did you get the samples? Thank you very much!
is this sick track up for download in 2018
whats the programs you're using in this??

Have you finished this track? I want it!!!! the high melody part is amazing. Would you recommend FL Studio to start out producing dnb tracks?
Most daws are good
Before I even played the video the windows gave it away that you're Danish! Hej fra California min ven! Godt stil.
What is the name of the song created and was it ever released?
Good to see you back bro. where have you been?
Hey Michael, I've been right here all along!
I've been a little busy lately with all sorts of stuff, but I'll have more focus on music and youtube now :)
Is this track on apple music?
Do you have any tips for sample packs?
I wish you would have gone into more detail about the hats you chose and how to get them to sound like that
That was legit
Hey! How do you make the lead? Can you help?
Where can we download the dnb samples you use by the way
by chance you can do one recommending plugins for liquid DnB
Well you can just kinda watch his videos :D Also pretty much any synths work for liquid. Be creative.
Vital is good because its free and you can make alot of sounds with its endless amounts of wavetables
Great Tutorial only issue would be for more infomation regarding the tools and samples being used
13:08. please may i get the name of that serum preset
where did you get that kit from bro! im tryna cop
How can I get that DC Breaks kit?
