As a fiddler and guitar player both, this has quickly become my absolute favorite channel on RUclips. Thank you both so much for the positive energy and incredible talent you’re offering up for us here. What a capo change on this tune. Especially with a cradle, and not something “easy” like a trigger. Have you guys thought about publishing audio-only versions of these anywhere? I would be thrilled to listen to them in places where I can’t always watch video (like my desk at work, where I’m stuck right now!)
Great arrangement on both! I play for CW events; reenactments, etc and both tunes are always in the mix. Seneca seems to go with everything! Now I have to combine these two. :D lol
Hey guys, that is a nice tune and excellent interpreted. Heard it first from Aly Bain and Jenna Reid in the "Transatlantic Sessions" of BBC. Just funny, two weeks ago I have put a short and simple mandolin version of "Waiting For The Federals" on my channel ... ;-)
Hi Adam, often you can find these tunes on thesesssion.org or folktunefinder.com Otherwise me might start compiling sheet music for some of the tunes we play down the line :)
Great oldtime tunes, thanks, and a lightning capo adjustment!
I play mostly oldtime fiddle tunes and I love your arrangements. Thank you!
All gorgeous, and what a shift for that capo!
Why have I not noticed this site before? Truly fantastic discovery.

Hi Seth, many thanks for the kind words! We are in fact looking in to release some audio only tracks, so stay tuned for those :D
Love listening to you! We are playing some of your tunes regularly on Monday evenings in Norwich
Absolutely beautiful versions and ensemble playing. Such lovely tempo and dynamics. You guys are wonderful together!
I am enjoying your whole body of work so much!

Love this tune so much made my whole week better , thanks so much 🙂
What a good take on 2 songs. Quite different from what I usually hear them played. Very good, thanks.
Brilliant as always! Love the flat picking and the capo switch - nothing makes me more nervous than a mid-set switch.
Cheers Jim. Trusty quick hands there from the Seb maestro.
Nice job on two of my favourite tunes 🎻
Goodness. I always thought Waiting for the Federals is a Polka.... Oh well. I like this version
Superb-especially Cumberland Gap!
WOW! Great performance! I love your versions of both these tunes. I really dig the guitarist’s chord/bass note choices, very cool. Cheers!

I’m new to the channel and so glad I stumbled across you guys! Wonderful music! Is the guitar in an alternate tuning?
Hi Matthew. The guitar is in CGcgcg tuning :)
