I have this bag and carry it for work. The first deep pocket you opened is actually what Tom Bihn designed as the water bottle pocket, that is why it is deep and narrow. I put my 16oz coffee flask with locking lid in there. You though demonstrated that smaller bottles can fit in the side pockets too!!!
Great review. Your demonstration putting the 20 oz Coke bottle in the side pockets is golden - I was wondering this exact question since I would want to either put a bottle or my Osmo Pocket 3 camera in there. Thanks!
I think Tom Bihn makes the best small(est) wallet. It is perfect for those who don’t carry cash. They make 4 or 5 “models”. #4 is my favorite bc it can attach to a lanyard.
Good morning, great video!! I like the bag and agree the color of the interior is much better then the bright orange others are using. I actually use different size hiking bags for bigger days out myself. I have a 19l for an emergency bag in my van. I have warm clothing for all the family and some snacks for if we have to walk away from the vehicle. Another 19l for bigger edc days, again this one has extra items for the family as well. Then I have a big bag (cant remember the size) ive used it for a week climbing trip on a glacier and other extended trips. This bag is packed and left in the house. It is set up if we have to get out quickly we could survive for multiple days easy and extended if necessary. The other video you mentioned getting my daughter to watch your videos. She actually is very interested in my edc gear and her bday is coming up in Feb. For one of her gifts I found a fanny pack and I am putting together an "edc" kit for her. A flashlight, magnify glass, im customizing a multi-tool (no blade), bandana, fidget toys and a few other things. Cheers 🍻
Thank you! Love your multiple bag set up, great idea!!! Love that your daughter is getting into edc! I’m actually hooking up the niece and nephew with some edc gear for their birthdays this year. Great minds think alike!!!
Love it, thanks so much for sharing! I have been looking at the larger size of the Synapse for awhile now to use as a 'One Bag' for travel. Great video.
Nice backpack. You ever consider using a Zippo refillable hand warmer over your hot hands? They remain warm for 12 hours once you light them, takes the same fluid as a zippo lighter. Decent thing to have, thing is it's not slim like your hot hands, but works much better.
As far as a EDC backpack, I really like the 5.11 AMP series of bags. They are very comfortable on back and shoulders and modular. You can add or remove components of the bag .
Cool review of the the bag. At one point I wanted to buy one but tend to carry less. So I went with a Tasmanian Tiger Medic Assault Pack S. Not the usual EDC bag seen around but very useful for my purpose.
Nice review. I have several TB bags. Agree they’re very high quality. Just one correction for you I’d mention, however, is that the “official” water bottle pocket is actually the pocket where you’re keeping your flashlight and tool kit. TB put the water bottle pocket in the middle of the bag for balance, so when your water bottle is full it doesn’t cause the bag to become heavier on one side. Of course you can put whatever you want to in that pocket and all of the pockets, because it’s your bag. 😊
Love that you have several and love them, I am so impressed by the quality, glad to know it lasts! Thank you so much for the water bottle pocket location! Someone actually asked if a water bottle would fit in there, yup, definitely will! Also, brilliant that’s it’s centered for balance. Thank you so much for pointing this out!!! Really appreciate it!
@@EDCQ Sure thing. I love EDC bags and am always looking at reviews, and yours came up in my RUclips feed. For anyone who wonders about the dedicated water bottle pocket on both the Synapse 19 and Synapse 25, as well as the Synik 22 and Synik 30, a visit to the TB website and viewing their packing videos of said bags shows the dedicated water bottle pocket in the center of the bags. It's a genius design, in my opinion. Wishing you good luck with your channel, @ EDC!
Very cool pack..I have the Elements backpack coming in from Alpaka..I’ll let you know what I think..great vid..Thank you for sharing! I need a new go bag 😉
Great video. I like the grey interior color too. I actually think it would be more reflective than the orange, so it would be better at finding items. It looks like the side water bottle pockets just fit a 20oz. If you had one of the taller bottles is the deep front pocket big enough to use?
Nice pack! Seems like it will last a long time. Also a fan of the interior and all the pockets. 😊 my daily get home/edc bag is the La police gear terrain stealth backpack and I got it for the same reasons- durable and organizable. Hope you’re well! Keep up the great vids!
Thank you! It is the Smael you can find them on Amazon. Very budget friendly. So far so good, it’s been working great for the couple weeks I’ve been using it so far.

Thank you! That makes so much sense, long and narrow and centered in the bag! Perfect water bottle pocket!

I’ll check out their wallets, I don’t think I’ve ever looked at them. Thanks for the heads up!
Great review A! If you ever decide you don't want this pack anymore, I'd be interested in picking it up from you. Thanks!!
@@ttg808 thank you. I’ll keep that in mind. At some point I’ll have to downsize my gear so I have room for new stuff 😂
I have not heard of that brand but I went to their website and now I want some….thanks to you! Nice job!
Try it all!!! Such a quality product. Thanks so much!!!

They really do make an excellent product. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Thank you so much!

I’ve thought about trying one. I just need to pick one up and give it a shot.

I have never tried their amp series, I might need to!
Big Tom Bihn fan! I have the synapse 25 & the Pilot !
Yesssss!!!! Love this!!!

Very nice. I like how non-tactical it is.
Yup! Non tactical in all aspects but carries a lot of gear well and will hold up indefinitely.

Thanks buddy! New go bag… I might have some ideas soon…
Great little pack.Thanks for reviewing.

I hadn’t thought of the front, long pocket for a bottle, I’ll test that out and let you know. Great idea!!!
You’re doing a great job A!

Thanks girlie! LA Police Gear makes great stuff, nice choice on the backpack!
Great review. Off to buy a Bihn bag.
Awesome! Let me know what one you end up with!
Hi A great video. What brand and model of watch are you wearing?
Thank you!
It is the Smael you can find them on Amazon. Very budget friendly. So far so good, it’s been working great for the couple weeks I’ve been using it so far.
My 2 year old really likes hand sanitizer too!!😄

That is an Amazon budget friendly watch, Smael. So far I’m digging it.
Should be a 4min video.
