I think the winner will be in one of these categories, and some will overlap: Those haven't won before ( Iceland, Cyprus and Lithuania and most of the balkans, Australia ), Those who havent won in a long time ( 4 out of the big 5, Switzerland), One of the big five, Those that have only won once, ( Serbia, Portugal, Finland, Russia), Those that won multiple times ( Ireland, Sweden, Israel). I don't know who the front runner of this contest. But Switzerland is the contender to beat. Some of these songs actually could have some good exposure here in the states, Especially Cyprus' and Switzerlands entries. The true test is when they perform on stage.
how about the netherlands they are first in the charts and many people find it a real contender or a winner in this matter, how can you completely rule them out?

@@priya9194 Thank you I agree! But the problem for many people is that they don't understand the lyrics fully I think too. I've made a Dutch tranation for myself so I could understand the song better and love it even more. Hope he can do as good as loic and Blanche,he's great singer

Why you think Russia is "once again" overrated? In 2016 Russia won the televoting and Australia won the jury vote... Jamala won the contest but she was never the first choice... I think it was so unfair to Russia. (I am not Russian I am Greek)
