I like the “ welcome back to the farm” instead of “welcome back to the channel”, and as always need the “ let’s go” in every video! Keep up the great work Kip!
That collapsible V rake is the best thing ever invented. Easy to transport, open it, drop it and rake just by moving a couple handles. Thanks to hydraulics it makes life slick.👍
Kip, that will be nice feed. A little cheat tip. Push a unwrapped hay or straw bales thru the wrapper at the start and end of the row to keep really nice pressure on the wrapped bales. It will prevent tearing as well as having to wrap bales that don't need it. I've never had real good success with trying to use the ram at the end row.
Hi from land of oz. I did contracting for over 35 years. Some tips. You can buy end caps for the rows or make your own from builders plastic sheet and twine. I went from tube wrapper to combination baler wrapper and doubled my output per day. Best I ever did was 350 bale and wrap by myself in 16 hours on 3 farms. Stopped using finger wheel rakes 15 years ago. Use double rotary rake since. It’s so good you will never go back to those rakes
G’job Kip, cattle look a little disappointed you’re wrapping those bales instead of feeding them one😁y’all keep em comin, great stuff and like I’ve always said, your enthusiasm for farming and life in general is second to none 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
When we used to wrap bales we would use a single plastic bale bag for the first and last bale in the line to completely seal the row up. I think we used a couple of pieces of tape to hold the wrap against the plastic, turned it by hand to make sure it started ok, and then continued with puting bales on the machine.
I've never seen a wrapper before, that was interesting watching it wrap, stop and start up again. I don't think Uncle C had one of those wrappers. Enjoy your 70 degree weather, we had a ground cover of snow last Friday. It was gone by mid-morning, thank goodness.
Thanks for another great video Kip. It was interesting and enjoyable. Busy work cutting and window and bailed and wrapping. You got it ready for the cows. Thanks for the drone footage. The drone footage is so enjoyable. Gives you good idea of operation. Thanks. In the milking polar helping out. Busy time. You take care and be safe. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks for everything Kip. The Iowa farm boy.
Hey kip Jesse here from Northern Wisconsin love your videos & what a beautiful farm you have & your land is so beautiful .. your hay fealds and amazing..I so would love to visit your farm some time & meet you guys ..
thank you for sharing. this is great that you can lay in extra feed for your cows. kinda takes the pressure off the worrying if you have enough or not.
Things are starting to change from the growing season to the winter season. Good job Kip on the silage, looks like a good supply on hand for the winter.
Love watching you guys. Takes me back to when I worked at Maple Grove dairy here in eastern Pennsylvania. We did the exact same things. You don’t think about what all goes into it when you’re younger. Great times. Keep up the good work
Great video Kip. I love watching The Parlor too all the cows and the babies. I bought one of those deer hunter Orange hats from you and a sticker so it's official now I have a hat from you I dig it thank you very much can't wait to see more videos take care and God bless
I so enjoy the drone footage of the farm, it is such amazing and beautiful place, very clean and well maintained. You so do amazing job, with all the irons in the fire as they say as you all have going on. Just amazing Year this year for you and your family.
Just as an option if you ever go to wrap silage in the future try putting straw bales at the end of the rows to prevent oxygen from getting in or maybe a sheat of plastic
Kip . We do the same thing bale and wrap . I noticed u put on close to maybe 4 layers of plastic. We did the same amount last yr and our quality wasn't the best this yr we put on 8 wraps and it looks better less moldy feed . Cows love it
The Dankin Dairy lost over 250 cows in the hurricane. It is a large dairy near Sarasota, Fl. They are giving hay and feed to people with animals that lost their hay and feed due to flooding in the hurricane
Baleage makes really awesome feed. We went away from it cuz it’s hard on tmr mixers and takes a lot of time to mix if it isn’t cut up. Other than that it’s fantastic.
It sure is nice how many more leaves you can keep on the alfalfa baling it wet. Kind of made a mess at the end pulling it off. Are you going to just start feeding then or let them go bad?
great video thanks for sharing. I'm 15 and I started a RUclips channel two months ago about farming. do you have any RUclips advice? keep up the good work.

Master rake work Kip. Loved the drone shots. Those heifers were sniffing up a storm when you were rapping. 😂🐄
Nice drone shots kip!.. we need to get one of the milk truck coming in.
Always great content and your lunch looks good also

This is an interesting channel.
Again nice cows! Enough room between the back legs to hold those big bags!
Kip just fantastic video for sure like you always do but this one is a special thanks so much for what you do for us to see.

Brake time just around the corner.😜😜😜😜😜😜
I wrap around 250 bales of alfalfa each year. Makes great feed.

Glad to see you got a fourth cutting. I was wondering how many cows do you keep on your farm?
Hello from Utah.
Where did you find ure music layover at I like the music it seems soothing
Carry on ser…
Do you guys have a liquid manure pit? I don’t think I have ever seen it if you do. God bless you too!
What do you do with your bull calves?
does it hurt anything leaving the end bales not completely wrapped?
Get it when you can before the snow gets there
It sure is nice how many more leaves you can keep on the alfalfa baling it wet. Kind of made a mess at the end pulling it off. Are you going to just start feeding then or let them go bad?

Does ur milk get bought for cheese or milk mostly ??
Don't the hay get hot or moldy baling it so wet and green?
Jim the hay ferments just like haylage and corn silage. So long as the plastic doesn't end up with holes in it.
Everything happening at once.... Remember to stay safe. Who said dairy farmers don't get busy!! Trying to remember.... Do you plant winter wheat??
Will it have enough time to grow for winter freeze cover
That's what I was thinking 🤔
As of 9october the first snow was in Gaylord not too far from Kip
Did I see you drinking milk in this clip? Hahahaha Eaglegards...
Open air , how old is the tractor ? Udder cola factory!
You don't need a ny more haylage in the silos
