Thanks a lot 🙏 4 Thebe with the Masterclass of Branding on African Soil and African Entrepreneurs Business. Much support from 🇿🇦 ZAR- Durban Rich Future by DSK Clothing ❤
I love how he takes pride when he speaks about our continent. and it's inspiring to see how both of you are so intentional about promoting African brands. a culture I intend to endorse.
I enjoyed this masterclass; Key takeaways: A brand tagline can sound generic but mean different things to different demographics. E.g. A better life for all A brand has its default status and its aspirational goals. Merging the two seamlessly is what will grow it without leaving its core consumers behind. Authentic branding will take you further than being a copy cat. The rest of the world is yearning for African brands.
Ýou have brought an African Legend groitnan Sbuda, I net him at Wits University last year. He left me with something big to think about. Power to Mr Thebe Ikalafeng ,may God bless him more🔥
I just finished my PR diploma and I am about to graduate soon. Hmmm never have I been so humble, so happy to be part (or sort of), a conversation. Besides understanding the jargon, it is affirmation, that's my industry, the important info that entrepreneurs need me for. Also DJ Sbu did you just get free consultation there?😂
Its harder to inspire citizens of the continent when our brand champions (leaders) work to our detriment. The same people saying proudly Africans are working in cahoots with the west and east at the continent's expense. Working with governments for me is a futile exercise unless the government embodies the brand values and that brand is felt and touched by the people.
Mmm...Mr Thebe Ikalafeng, what a gentleman, a branding genius and an authentic African agenda pusher, what a mouthwatering branding master class, indeed you've gotten better sir and so are we as the hustlers, we appreciate you sir, thank you Sbuda for this educative episode, Danko is Thank you 🙏
In other words, Thebe is saying take advantage of the local advantage. I still believe you can be a trillionaire in South Africa. You haven't dominated the local market and created a strong BILLION DOLLAR base eMzansi. Dynamics have changed.
I've always wondered why Drip and Mofaya did not capitalise on the Amapiyano dance trends by partnering with dance trend influencers who have millions of views globally for reasonable compensation.
I have a strong conviction that Mofaya and Drip should have been so tagged to Amapiano that it should have been impossible to bust a piano move or even think about Amapiano without thinking about Mofaya or Drip.

Also Ive never heard DJSbu speak about health benefits of Mofaya if he is aware of the health benefits of caffeine and vitamin B complex.
