She can't use the excuse of being overwhelmed or a single parent. The military has all sorts of help and programs, the neighbor even reached out and offered help..she starved that child and only God knows what else..my mother raised 6 by herself she wasn't mother of the yr but we did all live thru our childhood, no excuse for a parent to not do the bare minimum atleast, which is to make sure they don't starve, but she didn't do that. I keep picturing that sweet little child scared and all alone, hungry and lonely..it takes a special kind of evil to kill your own child, any child..but especially your own baby , knowing you are all each other has should have made her even more protective and loving , too bad these women don't chase after their children like they chase after these men.

Yeah it's particularly striking that the married older couple that lived above her offered to help and she didn't accept their offer. A lot of single moms would've loved that nearby support from a neighbor.

if a dog were to harm a child it would be put down so it never gets a chance to harm another one, the same punishment should be given to anyone that harms a child whether it be a parent, guardian, preacher, teacher or pedophile, upon conviction they should be placed in isolation for 72 hours before they are put on the floor the needle stuck in their heart and send them directly to hell

Also shame on the entire extended family including her biological father. Not one of those cowards stood up in court to give a victim impact statement. In death as in life, Taylor Rose was alone with no one willing to protect her. To spoke for her.

I say the samething when I hear a parent has killed their child why not just give the child to a fam member and get help if any of the fam has seen signs of a behavior change or witness things they need to speak up and I understand they don't c everything 24 7 and people can b good at hiding things but the kids shouldn't have to die cuz of a parents problems

I served with her before I separated and still can’t believe I looked this woman in the face everyday for two years and didn’t know that this was what she was capable of. This shit hurts and everyone who served with her is just in disbelief. I came in contact with a child killer and didn’t even recognize it. I’m just shocked.

My sis is a military vet, she had a child during her time in the military. She had become Master Staff Sergeant, with many honors. The only other thing, her son was spoiled, tho full of love. He is now a grown man with a child & good woman by his side & my sis? She lives close by & is still watching over! 😇

Life in prison is worst than a death sentence in my opinion. Death gives an easy way out, life means you can never be free and have to think about what you did every day
@chiefearnest1450 she tried to kill herself, drank bleach, so obviously she thought death was better. Im so glad they brought her back. She was in a coma. It wont be as easy to take urself out in prison. I don't understand how a person can be so capable and serve in something that likely takea discipline and passion and consistency but then do something so heinous and becuz they think the baby girl passed from starvation, that means she had commited to mistreating her over a span of quite some time. She didnt try to take herself out becuz of what she djd, she tried to commite S becuz she was getting caught. I can never understand!

The judege said the accused has no crininal record: "which is unusual..." really judge. I hope the defence took note of that inappropriate comment in appeal.
