Clean battery cable ends and battery post first ! Worked for me. Had a new battery and new cable ends and I guess they had a coating prohibiting battery from m receiving charge

For future reference, and mainly just to avoid a tow, if you hit qnd jar your alternator with a hammer/jack handle/etc. just like a failing fuel pump, or starter, for which the same works (i once had my fuel pump go bad, and id hit it a few times with a hammer and itd start right up. Drove it like that for like a month and a half. ) My best guess is it knocks the motor loose enough to run.

This is very helpful- found the fault on my Holden Captive when I’m driving on bumpy road engine stop. Then when I’m switching the ignition on engine start but there’s no lights on dash. Found out battery ground connection to fuse box is loose connection. Thanks for your helpful advice and video ❤

My problem has been the ground post to the jumper post. The little copper circle kept breaking and my Chrysler 200 would randomly stall. I completely replaced it with a ground cable from Walmart and have not had any problems

Thanks for making a great video covering all possible causes for a symptom. I have 2013 t&c, how can I check if mine has the fuse problem?

Hi I own a 2011 Kia optima SX and I got these codes C1102, C1126 and B1102 all at same time would you know what is wrong, last thing I replaced was a coil harness connector as when I was checking them by moving them with my hand while car was running and only cylinder 3 it would stumble and I also get a few misfires in that cylinder.

The alternator rated output needs to be looked up but that sounds like it likely is in the correct range.

Is it possible that code P0562 related to the pcm it’s à dodge caravan 2018 according to my Mecanic the battery regulator is integrated in the pcm Im not a Mecanic and try to avoid changing parts with no results
It started with a battery lit on dashboard, and drove until a drainage of the battery when I connected the charge the car started and the alternator was charging and working fine . Drove the car for a test and drained the battery in 15 mn , had to tow the car, anybody got this problem???

I have a Chrysler 200 3.6 and I had the same problem, and it ended up being the ground cable from the battery to the jumper post. It’s super finicky and if it’s not exactly perfect or if there’s corrosion on that little copper circle it can be all kinds of problems like my car stall in the middle of the road while I was driving it it killed one of my alternators, etc.
