Thank you for watching! Check out my other videos.
Ain't you glad you listened to the old Max? You need a tracheostomy to get the ole blades going up to speed.
Great video Sir! You did good!
Yes sir!
Helpful thank you
Thanks for watching!
1P1R is one pulse per 1 revolution is for a 2 stroke. 1P2R is 1 pulse per 2 revolutions is for a 4 stroke. You have a 4 stroke. Set it to 1P2R.
Anyone know if the wire can be extended and if so how (wire type, solder/crimp). I need longer run from outboard to middle of boat.
When hooking up a tachometer, there are a few different ways to complete the wiring connections. Most of the time, additional wiring will need to be added to the harness that is included with the tachometer, exiting the back of the gauge. When extending these wires, a soldered connection with heat shrink tubing is ideal. If soldering is not possible, another type of connection is a “butt” connection with a hollow tube that each wire end slides into and then crimped.
The engine has to be OFF to set the type.
You don't have to rapp the wire just hold it close to the spark plug.
The instructions said "wrap" so I wrapped!
you have set it wrong....... read instructions!
Seems normal to me.
Nope she's not running right. Rev up the engine.
