Honestly I wasn’t interested in Taemin I knew of him because he danced with Jimin so I knew he was a dancer but that’s all I knew. I saw some of his other music pop up but I wasn’t feeling them but this song THIS SONG wow definitely going to be killing this I’ve been listening to it straight since last night it’s really good. One thing I’ve notice since watching this mv this man can dance like he’s a good dancer. I just wanna give extra props to the dancers because they are so good and have been working so hard since Don't Call Me. Also Shinee is one of the few groups who use both male and female dances constantly in the dances and they REALLY use them to enhance their performance. I love them.
I know right, it is not easy to match the pace or complexity of SHINee's choreos, and also enhance stages of someone like Taemin without taking the focus away from him, or looking like a part of the backdrop themselves.
Yes, Taemin always has fire backup dancers. I recognise a couple from Criminal and Idea, and maybe one from Move? They are clearly top notch, and able to keep up with this dance god. I also appreciate that SHINee frequently uses co-ed dance troupes. The energy they bring is amazing. I have to say, Taem looked *particularly* good with his girl gang during Move performances though. Sexy as all hell, and they made it look effortless.

The concept is very mature. Feels a bit of tragedy, a bit of 'My life my way'. It has strength and stubbornness into it. Which is why I absolutely loved it compared to all the other kpop songs out there that still portrays puppy love, vulnerability and breakups. This is strong, visually and notes wise..AHHHH I absolutely congratulate Taemin for this. He has done so well and I hope he enjoyed it as much as we did.

Minho seems to have a calming effect on Taemin. Whenever Taemin starts to doubt himself or thinks that his performance wasn't good in the slightest, Minho always brings him down and subdues his anxiety. I am so thankful to know that Tae has such an amazing brother by his side at all times. 🥺💜

i think taemin meant that he doesn-t want to look "just sexy". he wants to convey a message with his dance and also the clothes take a part into it. so he isn't just sexy, him being half naked is functional to the storyline he is telling to the people who watch. but taemin is handsome so he just naturally comes out also really hot lol but behind his showing skin there is so much more. he is metaforically showing his true self by stripping half naked. it's not being hot for the sake of being hot and making the fans go crazy. i mean that is a natural consequence but shawols are also able to see the intention behind it. the whole verse about his torso is linked to him showing off for the first time his tattoo for which he was criticized at first for example.

Taemin has an amazing artistic sense, it's not about being naked itself, it's about a deep meaning about showing us who is him and maybe some of his weakness in a strong way. His style is always non-gender, so I think the way he shows his body it's not for being hot. It's a part of his identity.
I didn’t find the nakedness sexy. Taem’s sexiness lies in his eyes, in how he moves. This felt more like he was baring himself. Not a concept with elaborate costumes but himself with his tattoos and everything he went through, the darkness he faced that left marks on him, that made him who he is, that people judge.
Don’t get me wrong taemin is sexy but in such a grasping and different way. The only part that felt like Taemin was “sexy” in the most direct way was the white Supreme sweatsuit. It showed his body line very well and complimented his dance style incredibly. I didn’t even really think about him being shirtless from the beginning and through out the video because I was trying to dig at the meaning of it all. Even at the end, it was a second thought that he didn’t have a shirt on.

I swear, SHINee never fails to be so supportive of each other and it's just really heartwarming to witness. Onew went to Taemin's Beyond Live Concert as a surprise, Key went to Taemin's first live stage for Advice today (and even drew one of his fake tattoos!), and Minho went to the filming site AND Taemin's comeback live special. It doesn't matter how busy they are, they always find a way to support each other. What a wonderful brotherhood they have.
I don't recall ever listening to kpop before in my life, but I really enjoyed Advice (so much so I gave some other songs a listen and looked into who Taemin is). The visuals were great, the dancing was spectacular, I'm still listening to it because I really enjoy it and it's also really fun trying to piece it all together and find things i hadn't noticed before. Looking forward to more from this artist, who knows what time in military service will do for his art.

What Taemin doesn’t realize is that his artistic talents, dancing, singing, and the thought and effort he puts in to expressing himself thru these channels is what’s sexy. Yes he is physically hot and pretty, but anyone can be. Musical intelligence and artistic expression and just knowing how to move your body to create art is a very attractive thing. at least it is to me. Talent is attractive period. There are plenty of good looking people in the world, but If that’s all you are then it really isn’t all that impressive. After all, being born good looking is something you can thank your parents for.

JB did not get much hurt because he wore some thicker cover and all and was the one breaking it, so he just passed through it. I guess it was about the same thing for Taemin. Car foreglass is made up of layers, so when it breaks, it doesnt break like normal glass. its shards arent as sharp but plasticy, but it will still hurt a bit.

I've been following since 2013- Taemin has grown so much in personal expression over the years- it's clear he is powerful in creative composition as he is a poet with his voice/movement. He is an artist who isn't afraid to take risks and be vulnerable in what he wants to impart or construct. I hope he has the support he needs in such a stressful craft, and that he takes good care of himself. he will always be an inspiration just by being himself.

I just wanna give extra props to the dancers because they are so good and have been working so hard since Don't Call Me. Also Shinee is one of the few groups who use both male and female dances constantly in the dances and they REALLY use them to enhance their performance. I love them.
I know right, it is not easy to match the pace or complexity of SHINee's choreos, and also enhance stages of someone like Taemin without taking the focus away from him, or looking like a part of the backdrop themselves.

They are clearly top notch, and able to keep up with this dance god.

The concept is very mature. Feels a bit of tragedy, a bit of 'My life my way'. It has strength and stubbornness into it. Which is why I absolutely loved it compared to all the other kpop songs out there that still portrays puppy love, vulnerability and breakups. This is strong, visually and notes wise..AHHHH I absolutely congratulate Taemin for this. He has done so well and I hope he enjoyed it as much as we did.

i think taemin meant that he doesn-t want to look "just sexy". he wants to convey a message with his dance and also the clothes take a part into it. so he isn't just sexy, him being half naked is functional to the storyline he is telling to the people who watch. but taemin is handsome so he just naturally comes out also really hot lol but behind his showing skin there is so much more. he is metaforically showing his true self by stripping half naked. it's not being hot for the sake of being hot and making the fans go crazy. i mean that is a natural consequence but shawols are also able to see the intention behind it. the whole verse about his torso is linked to him showing off for the first time his tattoo for which he was criticized at first for example.

I didn’t find the nakedness sexy. Taem’s sexiness lies in his eyes, in how he moves. This felt more like he was baring himself. The only part that felt like Taemin was “sexy” in the most direct way was the white Supreme sweatsuit. It showed his body line very well and complimented his dance style incredibly. I didn’t even really think about him being shirtless from the beginning and through out the video because I was trying to dig at the meaning of it all. I swear, SHINee never fails to be so supportive of each other and it's just really heartwarming to witness. Onew went to Taemin's Beyond Live Concert as a surprise, Key went to Taemin's first live stage for Advice today (and even drew one of his fake tattoos!), and Minho went to the filming site AND Taemin's comeback live special. It doesn't matter how busy they are, they always find a way to support each other. What a wonderful brotherhood they have.

I don't recall ever listening to kpop before in my life, but I really enjoyed Advice (so much so I gave some other songs a listen and looked into who Taemin is). The visuals were great, the dancing was spectacular, I'm still listening to it because I really enjoy it and it's also really fun trying to piece it all together and find things i hadn't noticed before. Looking forward to more from this artist, who knows what time in military service will do for his art.

What Taemin doesn’t realize is that his artistic talents, dancing, singing, and the thought and effort he puts in to expressing himself thru these channels is what’s sexy. Yes he is physically hot and pretty, but anyone can be. Musical intelligence and artistic expression and just knowing how to move your body to create art is a very attractive thing. at least it is to me. Talent is attractive period. There are plenty of good looking people in the world, but If that’s all you are then it really isn’t all that impressive. its like in "Hold On" MV JB there was a breaking glass scene in which the cameraman really got hurt because of the glass shards and had to get stiches. JB did not get much hurt because he wore some thicker cover and all and was the one breaking it, so he just passed through it. I guess it was about the same thing for Taemin. Car foreglass is made up of layers, so when it breaks, it doesnt break like normal glass. its shards arent as sharp but plasticy, but it will still hurt a bit.

I remember Taemin saying that he didn't want to be described in a certain genre. He wants to be his OWN Genre!! In my opinion, he's already done it! Debuting in 3 gens has given him the freedom that other artists may not get!! He's loved. Best of all, Respected by contemporaries down through 4th gen. His music interpretation & execution, gives us a chance to decide how it touches us! I also love that he chose Minho. Like many said, Minho calms & is comforting. Remember went he went to a concert while still in the military? Taemin will always be the baby that his hyungs will dote on! Stunningly amazing performance Taeminnie! ❣❣

I've been following since 2013- Taemin has grown so much in personal expression over the years- it's clear he is powerful in creative composition as he is a poet with his voice/movement. He is an artist who isn't afraid to take risks and be vulnerable in what he wants to impart or construct. I hope he has the support he needs in such a stressful craft, and that he takes good care of himself. he will always be an inspiration just by being himself.
