Pease help!! Nothing works -students used the course code -system says: "invalid code"
Then students used url, the system allowed them be joined to course, but only gave them option to create a username, but no password
When logging in, they then asked for a password change and the system sent password link to some of them, but not to others. It has been a disaster, I have 4 classes with multiple students not able to join for 1.5 weeks

I am so sorry this is happening! You add and can create a username for them, but they will still have to set up their own password. Here is some really good article on how to do this. Let me know how it goes! Try it with yourself first.
