I'm probably the outlier, but I do NOT like "trigger sounds" videos. It's so contrived. THIS kind of video (so good!) is like ASMR you experience "in the wild" so to speak! That's right up my alley! I would love to see some visual ASMR. For instance, the way you packed up the tea bottle in the gift box in your tea shop video - TINGLES GALORE!!! Not just the tissue paper sounds but how carefully and gently you packed jt. Visual triggers were how I first had ASMR tingles as a child, specifically watching people bag groceries really slowly and carefully or folding clothes at a department store and carefully stacking and arranging them. I'd love to see something like that!

I wasn’t in the mood to scroll TikTok tonight and thought “maybe Tom posted a new video on YT.” The perfect length if you don’t want to spend too much time watching something. I’m a fan of all the role-play videos since they’re creative, look great, and your voice is so soothing.

You see the shorter duration and think “Okay, I have time for this.” For your longer videos (dinner party, boutique, etc) I find I’ll watch all the way or most of the duration first since I’m a fan. After that, I’ll revisit them in different intervals, but it depends on my mood when I’m trying to unwind before bed. I think the stat of 1/3 seems accurate for new viewers or those with less attention span.
