Any reason you don't remove any of the ads? At 12:06 I can see a paper form that you could literally just pull out but it seems like you chose to have that bound in
When doing smyth sewn binding you can’t remove ads. I personally don’t mind ads anyway. The paper you’re seeing at 12:06 is just the order form. It’s not bound in there I just keep those in case I need to remind myself of any of the specs used for the volume.
Love the binds! I'm more of a DC Fan so this is the video I've looked forward to. The Alex Ross spine is superb, I'm glad you made sure not to cut any faces in half it's a pet peeve of mine. How did you bind your League of Extraordinary dudes? Did you use singles? It looks like it does that thing with card stock covers in the later half. I can't wait to eventually get some custom binds done myself. I've been collecting a few different series for binding but each is missing a few issues here and there. I look forward to the other videos.
I really love the way to JLA set turned out. That was such a solid series and I’m god to finally have it all in one easy to read spot. For LoEG I used a combo of sources. Mostly the tpb’s but for the century ones I used the individual issues. I did take out all the card stock covers though as I am not a fan of how those feel in the middle of a bind. Thanks!
Last year I bought a few high quality issues of DC's Solo that I'm planning on doing a bind of. I've given up on chances of DC reprinting it at this point. Have you done a bind of Alan Moore's 1963?
League of Gentlemen is one of my all-time favorite BBC comedies!
Always love seeing this. It is like going to very cool archive vault
Great binds, mate. Was there any difficulties with the paper shortage?
I didn’t see any difference. Though I’m used to being patient with the binding process.
I may have missed you saying it if you did, but what company do you go through to get them bound?
They were done by Houchen Bindery

Any chance you'll share the art work? Would love to make a Frank Miller omni like you with the same art work

@@thecomicarchive What binding option did you go with for LoEG? I know it can be difficult with tpbs.
I believe it was just DFAB. I’ve had good experiences with that when binding tpb’s

I did do a bind of 1963. It was a great series that I wish would get reprinted.
9:54 You can erase It using a little knife and order to hotstamp again.
Are you selling any of these???
