Nice video!!! I like the mix of humor, poetry, and history. I must visit this place soon.
Thank you for tuning in, Mark! :D
I discovered Watkins Glen this fall and it was beautiful!! Coming early in the morning is definitely better.
Nice waterfalls, nice tourist spot on earth. Thanks for sharing. stay connected my friend..
Was there 2 years ago on memorial weekend.. too crowded, but it is beautiful!
Such an awesome video and cleverly narrated!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it :D
I went there before
It is a old Star ⭐️ Fort
When is the best time to visit this place ?
The gorge trail is currently closed - but will reopen around mid-May and remain open until early fall - both of which are the best times to visit :) Check out this website for more info: parks.ny.gov/parks/142/
Great video. Was here a year ago. Easy hike with beautiful views! Check out my most recent video of Rattlesnake Cliffs with a bonus proposal!
I was locked up in a prison camp near there. And we built a lot of those pathways and stair cases up that gorge. It was literally back breaking work. But I didn’t mind to get out and work and take in those views.
I know the one you're talking about...Camp Monterey...I lived near there. The State of NY closed down that Prison Camp. Pretty sad if you ask me.....That place gave a lot of young guys a second chance to turn their lives around....
@@ruger6715 Exactly.... 6 months or so of shock did better for people than 10 years in prison. I grew up on Meads Creek road so I saw buses from Camp Monterey all the time.

its more like a park not a REAL camping sort if you get what im saying. very beutiful though just small
Please do your research! You guys were hiking in the bowels of a Tartarian/megalithic site!!!!
Question the narrative!!!
