RIP John, we miss you!
Where is he?
@elvis1231 Well his talent in presenting will be certainly one thing he'll be missed for.. 😂😁😀😃
@@KKKK-ij7jt he died just before Christmas 2015
The chap is a very good presenter.
I was just about to say the same. Could listen to him all day.
CountryHouseGent sad
RIP.
Gets so much in its difficult to keep up its like taking part in the Grand National...😂😁😀😃😂
I was thinking the same.
The first caravan I brought was was £1000 it done the job. I lived in it for 6 months during the summer period while buying a home. Loved every minute of it.
Very enthusiastic and in depth review 👍🏽
I know this is an old video - but had to say I loved it !! his so enthusiastic and up beat
Hey I love it.........including the upholstery. I love the way the old caravans were made, so this is just my style. Thanks for sharing.
I love this caravan, we have a swift Challenger 490 se from 1994 and still so Beautiful, they are very rare in Holland. But if we would buy an other one it Will be a brittish caravan.
We are still in love.
I bought mine from a dealer in Yorkshire, I took it home and plugged everything in, I found the locks on all doors didnt work, the tap leaked and there was no hot water heater, ....his response..sold as seen, I'll have a look for his address and make him famous
Hi I just got my caravan today it is a 2006 caravan so quite new. I love it
Cammo Technogeek 33 me to I got a 2010 swift crouch 6 berth
Loving it . Have a 20 year old Cruach Morven 2 berth . It’s so good you would think it just left the showroom . Clear services the past three years . Everything as it should be . Full 20 year service history and it shows . Looked at new vans but they don’t come near for quality and charm . Cost us £3500 . Best money we ever spent . Been all over the UK in the 36 months we have owed her. Still stands out wherever we go . No need to pay £28,000 for a tourer . Check second hand deals and do your homework👍
"A 17 year old caravan , at a snip of just under 4 and half thousand pounds" ????? im not knocking the caravan at all, but thats a lot of money for a caravan of that age
dealer price remember you can get one privately a lot cheaper about 1 and a half to 2 grand
I was thinking how about keeping your caravan in a big top style tent on a hardstanding when not in use away from the weather and sunlight, just a thought. 😂
"Small ding there but I wouldn't loose sleep over that!" 😂😁😀😂😁 that's practical caravanning for you and room to knock em down a couple hundred looooool
In the market for a pre owned van? John Wickersham is here to help!
I’d like this man to read me bed time stories
Brilliant review. Thank you. 🙏
On a Caravan of this Price Range, Condition is Everything, Fabric & Furnishing Colours are What they are. If You Don't like the colour, Most people will put Covers or Throws on the seating .
A very Nice Caravan at that Price range.
I love that model..heck I would rather have that one at 17 years old than one of our new ones here in the US states!!! They seem soo different over there compared to the United States..like everything else I guess...but that is a beauty of a trailer um I mean as you call it Caravan!! Here in the states the Caravan is a Dodge made minivan!! haha Have a good day from a fan of your caravans here in sunny Tampa,FL USA!
If only i could imagine to live in such caravan in 1998,if.
When caravans are this good why buy a house 😂😁😀😃
i prefer the older models, mines an old classic motorhome nearly 30 yrs and still going strong,it has its down sides though; especially the non power steering,i hope to sell my motorhome next year after ive saved up around 5k towards one with power steering, its going for around 5k,fiat ducato 1991 with 91,000 genuine miles.
good vid
my caravan is of a simular type and of about the same age. it is a little less nice becouse of some spungy floor and stuff like that. here comes the good part: it was only 500 euro
Super narrartor
I didn't listen when I purchased mine....second hand ...yeah let's say we gotta start again. From floor to ceiling lol.. So much rot
Somone definately bought that caravan after watching this video.
There was absolutely no buying advice what so ever, this was just a walkthrough of that one specific caravan.
For those looking at a caravan you can see what he is looking at... so while there is no specific buying advice, there is plenty to learn if you are a newbie.
A laugh s minute....😂😃😁😀
Some one could recomend any website for used caravans in UK? Thank you!!!
instead of going out and buying everything why don’t you just get a new one.
This caravan was that price new.
It's hideous !!!
Sorry but this video was a waste of my time. Damp and ingress are not mentioned at all.
This is so outdated advice and should be removed from You Tube. Hes reviewing a 17yo caravan in 2015, which is over 20 years old in 2019. No one's buynig a 20yo caravan in 2019. #delete
Alphonse Capone i don t agree with you. I did it myself a couple of years ago and i sell it again a few days ago.
So, never say never.
Lmao. All its saying is any problems you have with your caravan can usually be solved and upgraded. Its effectively just showing you what to expect from second hands... and hell if you think no ones buying a 20 yr old caravan then you've clearly never looked at ebay and gumtree where 20,30 even 40 yr old caravans are being sold every day. Caravans age much slower than other vehicles.
