  • "The footage was filmed in 1932 at Beaumaris Zoo in Hobart, Tasmania, and shows the Tasmanian tiger, or thylacine, in a small enclosure. The thylacine is shown standing, lying, sitting, moving around, pacing, scratching and yawning and was filmed in close-up and extreme close-up". As of today Tasmanian Tigers are largely believed to be extinct, however unconfirmed sightings continue to occur.

    Wow what an amazing creature I really hope that they're not truly extinct... BTW thanks to The Joe Rogan Experience or I would have never found this film👍

    They should've kept the thylacine enclosure up after the zoo closed its gates in 1937.

    RIP i would give anything to see the Tasmanian tiger but its thought that they are somewhere in hiding
