Wowie! Passing along that Home Free has actually done a Coke commercial to run during Bowl Games. Former player David Pollack (Georgia grad so Austin's in heaven) appears with them. They sound great and Tim gets to rattle the speakers.
Very cool. I'm a huge NFL fan but to be honest I don't watch too much college ball as my Alma mater is best known for our basketball in recent decades. But I'm sure I will be able to find it.
@@Mel_ForReal Further investigation has found three different commercials -- Georgia, LSU and Ohio State. Different songs in each! Use #ShareaCoke for search.
I enjoyed that --- and knew you would!!! I've waited, wanting you to find it for yourself --- whether it be on your own or an offering/request; knowing you'd appreciate it. It's awesome... even in a way that I'd never heard before....... they pair so well together --- truly amazing!!!! That was a "Performance"... which this song demands; it simply was intended that way. If not performed, it doesn't work at all!!!! Thanks!
Thank you for reacting to this one. I knew you would love it. There is something magical about Tim's and Peter's voices in harmony. Also like you said you get to hear Tim show off his range in one song. Which is something we don't get too often in his songs with Home Free because well there are 3 other guys who sing. lol Wishing you the best Christmas ever and a happy, healthy New Year.
Was really lovely. .love listening to you talk. .you truly are inspiring. .yes agree just enjoy. .an I so enjoyed that thanku so much for being here. .in my world. . Adore you .love you God bless x
It's truly beautiful, and what a wonderful setting they picked for it - not flashy, just a gorgeous bit of nature. It's lovely to share these wonderful pieces of music with you - sometimes there simply isn't anything much to say, but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy them together.
I agree you can easily see Tim's range in this song. I hope you will have a nice holiday and I enjoy seeing your reactions and am glad you share that with me and others.
It certainly is, I was able to track it back almost 450 yrs. Now that you say that I can hear the melody is both songs. Thank you and I very much appreciate the well wishes.
This is my favorite from this duo. While both are very phenomenal singers in their own right, Peter tends to layer most of his parts before hand. But during the song he normally picks a range that suits him the best, and stays there during the song. Tim on the other hand will slide from the down in that deep bass range and slide up and down the scales, like it's nothing more than just a simple walk in the park. I have seen him do this live so many times, and on several different songs, and it never ceases to amaze me. I can't remember if you did Tim's "Can't Help Falling In Love With You", but if not... you'll want to check it out, too. Talk about knowing how to use that voice, and all of those 5+ octaves, whew, it's beyond phenomenal. I never thought anyone other than Elvis could ever do that song justice....that is until I heard Tim's version. There's no video, just audio. There's no big production, just Tim singing and playing the piano. Thanks.
As you can tell I was completely and utterly blown away. I have rewatched this video at least 5 times since, it is and will remain one, if not my favorite performance by Tim. Just amazing.
I can't remember if you've already heard it or not, but if not, you should listen to Tim's version of Can't Help Falling In Love off his solo album. You don't have to do a reaction, just treat yourself to it cuz it's gorgeous! Talk about singing all over the scales!!! There's no video; just audio. Wow!

One continuous take. That was remarkable. And awesome. Tim is like that rising tide that raises all boats.

Thank you Belinda. Same to you, have a wonderful holiday, much love.
This is a beautiful old folk song. Not certain how long ago that this also becomes the melody for “What Child is This”. Nice reaction. Feel better!
