I absolutely agree with your comments about this being a "student" concerto. The title gives the impression it's not worth it for more mature players to work on it. I hadn't known this piece before but looking at all the techniques used and just the general musicality of the notes I want to play it myself. I WAS looking for something for my student to play but now I'm in my own rabbit hole haha

@@emmagranger1249 Thanks for the caution. it’s not likely that he’ll play too fast. He’s only 7. We are rather methodical with our approach. We always use metronome, especially since this piece has lots of unusual triplets. He plays slow till all the technical requirement are in, only then he’s allowed to increase tempo. 😀

Zaman hem iş yüzünden kısıtlı, hem de izlenmeyecek bir şey yapmak için günlerimi harcamak yerine kitap okumayı, film izlemeyi, gezmeyi, yabancı dil çalışmayı tercih etmeye kayıyor içim. Love it ! I agree, this is not a "student" concerto. I bought the music score for all of Seitz "student concertos" (1 to 5). I worked on the 2nd and 5th ones so far. Then I watched a student played the 3rd one and thought "that sounds really nice !", then proceeded to give it a look and sightread the first bars... oh boy !! 😂😂 That's not easy ! I've tried in 1rst position only, it's super awkward ! I guessed with some shiftings here and there it would flow more naturally, but I'm too young of a student to write down my own fingering (you've already help me with that by the way,I'll try you're fingering, looks quite natural 👌 Do you by any chance have a music score with your fingering written down on it ?)
