This was so beautiful...our eyes should always be gazing at the superiority of CHRIST, and our great need in this spiritual bankruptcy that is ours, and embrace the power to transform us into the image of HIMSELF. The restored image that was mared by sin...❗

Wow. This sermon is so rich. Every sentence and every word in each sentence builds on each other; even the analogies draws sense and logic.
The Uncommon virtue of Humility: (What makes it distinctly Christian)
“..is the disposition of the (our) heart to be pleased with the infinite superiority of Christ over ourselves in every way; and while we still live in this fallen nature, sinful nature includes the reflex of displeasure for self-exaltation, with all of its insidious manifestation of self-exaltation.”
    - The greater our pleasure in Christ’s superiority over us, the more sorrowful is our awareness of our craving for self-exaltation.
    The roots of Humility are:
    - The superiority of Christ ✝️; and
    - my spiritual perception of it with the eyes of my heart 👀♥️
    The fruits of Humility:
    - The attitude, the words, (and) actions that flow from being glad in the superiority of Christ
Philippians 2:3 In humility, count others more significant than yourself.
Thank you Lord for this lesson 😇🙏

Jeffrey Dahmer, the serial killer who murdered and ate his victims, believed in Jesus as his Lord and savior in his jail cell before he died.
John 3:16 KJV: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Heaven is not a place for “good” people. Heaven is for whosoever believes in Jesus.
This goes to show you that it doesn’t matter who you are or what you’ve done, the Power and Glory of God’s grace is sufficient to save anyone. And once you’re saved you’re always saved.
    Ephesians 4:30
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Just believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus and you’re saved. No attending church, no getting religious, no pretending to be holier than thou. The Bible is clear. Just believe to be saved.
    Acts 16:31
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
John 6:47, KJV: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
    John 3:36
“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”
    John 6:29
“Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the will of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.”

How about you? Another thing, going back to Jeffrey Dhamer, it’s glorious to me that we’ll have glorified, incorruptible bodies and will be priests of the Most High, no matter our sin on earth if we believe and rest in the finished work of Jesus Christ. "The Uncommon Virtue of Humility"
Kind Sir...I believe that the ONLY true "virtue of Humility"; is when any one (since Creation) becomes "Born Again"; by believing IN and worshiping IN; the same God that Noah and Abraham (for just two) believed IN and Worshiped.
And when God came to this earth "manifested in the flesh" his name was and IS Jesus. And He is the name of God; to the End of time. And the older names of God like "Elohim and YHWH"; are now put to death. Because of what 99% of the Israelites; never have believed in Jesus or worshiped Him.
    Let alone "God Almighty!"
Thus, when Jesus deems; that any person is sincere in their beliefs in Jesus; He will immediately have His Holy Spirit; to give that person a New Birth. Which is NOT another Fleshly birth. But a Heavenly "Spiritual Birth"; that would be "Everlasting Life"! With NO exceptions, regardless! Proving "OSAS"!
Believe it or not! And then, and ONLY then will any one EVER have "Virtue of Humility"! For it is NOT possible under any other way. Praise Jesus. Thus, those that become Born Again; will become humble and compassionate. And love others, etc!
...In any case kind Sir, Please Pray OFTEN and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you and yours always. AMEN!

How come you have not spoken about the overturning of Roe vs. Wade? You and other pastors and evangelists should be making videos about praising victory on SCOTUS ruling. Is it because you can't or you won't due to the fact that you are not praising truly in Jesus's name? Are you part of the Churches that belong to the ILLUMINATI, CABAL, etc.? Jesus stated that during the last days watch for false Pastors and Prophets. Are you one of them?

      Just as He did Sennacherib.
...but that didn't make Sennacherib commendable (except in a certain sphere).
Trump turned "pro-life" a year before his campaign for political expediency -and then asserted this ascertained jurisdiction (conservative pro-life judges) as the appropriation of promised obligation... that was actually antithetical to his inherent position of origin- **which is pro-choice (or pro-abortion... whichever name one prefers).
This is the demonstration that Trump is not commendable for what happened- he was just a utensil despite his "internal" perspective. This is just the reality of the situation and I've never voted any other way but Republican.
You've continuously embarrassed yourself -in this DG forum-Hank.
You consistently show that you don't know what you're talking about and haven't done your homework (though your citations have superficial applicability) -because you're satisfied with intellectual (and spiritual) myopia.
I would say- "Do Better"... But you've shown your inability for that capacity.
But it's the only hope you have in continuing to listen to Piper.

      @Hank Fuddle
Then you're supporting a fraud and the antithesis of Christian ethic…which is the moral negation of your faith- while you champion the discrediting of your own authenticity. This is -by definition… stunning- because it shows who you really are - and "unapologetically" so (which you've been showing for a long time in ignorant comments like this.)
In all earnestness and seriousness, it's a surreal signification for this dialogue to reveal the specific underlying identity of what should frighten you about yourself (or anyone else) and then have it put on display when you say - you couldn't "care less" about someone's (the soon-to-be again most powerful leader in the world) motivations (which are demonstrated to be feigned and expedient) -while you "think" you take the name of Christ for yourself in defiant celebration of demonstrable deception. Thus, you're promoting deception in Trump- while fostering it within yourself!!!
*Edit... And in the interest of clarity, the issue is not even really about Trump himself. It's about the reality of the dynamics of his pro-life involvement which ironically discredit the whole pro-life argument for Trump -as is. But this whole exposition is simply a result of erroneous assertions that entail false implications against Piper himself... which frames the accusations as bearing false witness. This is ultimately the bottom line and the only reason for discussion. It's actually less a discussion about Trump than it is about false witness against a Christian brother (Piper) when the premises of the accusations are necessarily false -and therefore absurd.
If Piper we're actually involved in a legitimate offense and compromise, there would be no need in going to this length to show the reality going on in defense of bearing false witness against him.
For your own good Hank, this is God warning you *(in public comment- in which few people get to actually experience it happening to them -in real time!)
      Perhaps you'll listen to Dostoevsky…
“Above all, do not lie to yourself. A man who lies to himself and listens to his own lie comes to a point where he does not discern any truth either in himself or anywhere around him, and thus falls into disrespect towards himself and others. Not respecting anyone, he ceases to love -and having no love, he gives himself up…"
**This is showing itself in the irrationality that you demonstrated in your original comment and the inapplicability of its assertion against Piper.
(For 20 years, I have scrutinized Piper -far more stringently than anybody else I've seen because their critiques of Piper unravel within themselves -somewhere down the line. This is because God holds him up.)
Such irrationality is the case with you…and why I'm even taking the time -especially in light of what is being revealed (you're revealing of yourself) this very moment -and will undoubtedly continue.
The only reason in this occasion is because of the false witness that you are bearing and idiotically broadcasting!
And Piper repeatedly emphasizes the need for love's clarity in such matters…for this is a primary qualifier and indicator of reprobation in a brother.
      John 13:34-35
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. [35] By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."
Yet while you are yelling "from the rooftops" the exact opposite of this… thereby showing the ominous danger that you're in you double down- wallowing in ignorance (reiterating itself).
Please turn back and abandon this tirade because now you just keep embarrassing yourself more and more.
It's like you're taking a stick and beating yourself in the head with it -for everyone to watch.
      Please turn back.

    The Gospel:
    Plain and
    Simple
“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent
beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your
minds should be corrupted from the simplicity
that is in Christ.” - 2 Corithians 11:3
Ask someone today if they are saved and
you will most likely hear responses like these:
“I have accepted Jesus into my heart.” Or “I
have made him Lord of my life.” “I’ve been
baptized.” “I said a prayer.” Sounds all good
and churchy don’t it; but it is difficult to de-termine whether or not a person actually
knows the gospel that saves them. These use￾less phrases don’t describe a thing about what
the gospel is and has left a devastating effect
of people not knowing what it is that they are
saved from nor how they are saved; which
leaves a more serious effect of people ques￾tioning their salvation.
Let’s not muddy the simplicity of salva￾tion that is in Christ with vague church
sounding phrases that do not communicate
anything. But rather present God’s word with
clarity and assuredness. So here is the gospel:
    plain and simple.
Sin was passed upon all men by one man
Adam, and death is a consequence of this sin
(Rom 5:12). Mankind has an eternal destiny of
condemnation and wrath - Hell - because of
this sin (Rom 6:23). No matter what good
works one might do we are still found sinners
in the sight of our Creator God. And all un￾righteousness and those who follow get in￾dignation and wrath. We cannot be found
righteous for by God’s law we are found sin￾ners (Rom 3:19-20). If we have broken even
one law we are found guilty.
It is for this reason of not being able to
create our own righteousness and being born
in a sinful flesh that we need a savior (Titus
3:5). Christ is that Savior, God manifested in
the flesh, sinless, died in our place on a cross
2000 years ago. Taking upon him the wrath
and judgement that was intended for us sin￾ners. And it is through his bloodshed, burial,
and resurrection on our behalf that we are
able to have peace with God and forgiveness
of our sins (1 Cor 15:1-4, Col 3:14). This good
news is unto all but only those that believe in
it are made righteous in Christ (Romans
    3:22).
It is then after we have heard this good
news of Christ’s righteousness available to us freely, that we are sealed with the Holy Spirit
and we are now part of Christ’s body the
    church (Eph 1:13)
There is nothing that we need to do, no
good works that are required, and no bad
works that can separate us from our new po￾sition in Christ (Romans 8:35-39).
Faith and belief in this information from
    God’s word is the gospel.
The gospel is not accepting Jesus into your
heart. The gospel is not making him lord of
your life, it is not saying a prayer and it is not
    being baptized with water.
So next time someone asks you if you are
saved. Give them the clear assured answer
“Yes! And let me tell you why!”
