My youngest daughter, Pennie Jean, was slowly walking towards my wife today, crying and heartbroken. My wife, Brooke, thought maybe she’d fallen off her bike, but when she asked her what was wrong, she said “I miss my grandma. I just want to be close to her. I wish the quarantine was over.” - The physical distance from our loved ones has been so difficult, even for young children! Grandma matters to Pennie Jean. Our family and our friends matter to us, and we matter to them. But, that’s not where the circle of “people who matter” ends. To our healthcare workers and first responders out there keeping us safe, you matter. Those who are working overtime so stores are able to stay stocked with essential items we need to live, you matter. To the moms and dads who are now juggling their normal responsibilities with homeschooling and easing the worried hearts of their children, you matter!
There is so much love to be given, and received. Tell somebody they matter to you. ❤️

I have no idea if you both are famous or not, Mat I have say your seasoned voice is incredible ... I'm not taken anything from your daughter, she has a beautiful voice. We are about the same age. I have always love male/female duets but these two are really special. Their mutual affection and wholesomeness on these difficult times are quite a tonic. I am a big fan and will continue watching and listening. I wonder about their future but will enjoy the present for now.
I think what you are hearing is his experience and maturity, with time she will add that little something more that Mat has. She's just learning how to use her very natural instrument. Such a joy to see them sing together.

If you two don't end up with a recording contract from all these spectacular videos, presuming you want one, there's no justice. When I watched this, there were 13 thumbs down and 5.2 THOUSAND likes. I'm a harsh critic & have no problem saying something isn't great when it isn't but these two are FLAWLESS (anyone who knows me professionally, knows that I don't hold back with practical criticism - vocally these two are top tier vocalists), so I'm not sure what the people who didn't like this could possibly be finding to dislike in these videos. Must be jealousy.

Yes, Envy has a way of seizing the guts of a jealous person--but i disagree with the count taken--it could be those thirteen people were clumsy-fingered newbies to a smartphone, or seniors struggling to hold the darn thing without losing their grip. --Because i can't believe a soul on this earth would possibly feel anything other than adoration for these 2--not only for their voices, but also for their choice of words in the lyrics--whether they're Disney lyrics or not.

I agree completely! The peaceful feeling from this song is incredible and they have a special light about them. I think the power comes from their strong faith in God. I just feel it when I listen. I could be wrong but I have a strong hunch they are members of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have felt similar feelings and seen similar light from others who hold those same beliefs in Christ. I just discovered comeuntochrist.org that explains more about their faith.

I first ‘discovered’ Mat and Savannah’s channel purely by chance, as these songs have never been my thing and I’ve never been to a musical in my life. I thought I’d watch a video to see what it was about, and I was instantly hooked! Their voices are beyond incredible, beyond beautiful and beyond anything I could imagine two non professional singers would possibly be capable of. But it’s not just their voices that I am transfixed by, it’s their absolute presence, the love they clearly have for each other and the joy they so clearly reap from singing together. I come away from watching these beautiful performances feeling uplifted and happy to have been able to share in their passion. ❤️❤️❤️
You said it perfectly! What they're doing is so much more than sing songs. The songs themselves are serving as a medium of communicating their love for one another and for these songs to their audience, in such a tangible way that you cannot but listen to them sing these songs again and again.

What I really love about their videos apart from the spectacular talent, is how proud the father is of his little girl when she sings. You can see it on his face, how happy and elated he is about his daughter being such incredibly gifted.

Your talent, as I see it now, is that you are honest with yourself and us. And even though you feel you are lacking in what others may have, you are still able to lift them up (by saying "It makes them even more special...") instead of breaking them down.
Yes, your honesty is a talent, and everyone is jealous at some point, but how you act on it is what matters more. You acted by being honest, addressing the problem, and seeing the people you are jealous of as higher up, it is very selfless, just remember you are important too! And you are appreciated, but most of all when this is all over God will welcome his people into his paradise and say “well done, good and faithful servant” and your many talents will be revealed, some we couldn’t even image on this earth.
