Ron, We are about the same age. I have always love male/female duets but these two are really special. Their mutual affection and wholesomeness on these difficult times are quite a tonic. I am a big fan and will continue watching and listening. I wonder about their future but will enjoy the present for now.

If you two don't end up with a recording contract from all these spectacular videos, presuming you want one, there's no justice. When I watched this, there were 13 thumbs down and 5.2 THOUSAND likes. I'm a harsh critic & have no problem saying something isn't great when it isn't but these two are FLAWLESS (anyone who knows me professionally, knows that I don't hold back with practical criticism - vocally these two are top tier vocalists), so I'm not sure what the people who didn't like this could possibly be finding to dislike in these videos. Must be jealousy.

I first ‘discovered’ Mat and Savannah’s channel purely by chance, as these songs have never been my thing and I’ve never been to a musical in my life. I thought I’d watch a video to see what it was about, and I was instantly hooked! Their voices are beyond incredible, beyond beautiful and beyond anything I could imagine two non professional singers would possibly be capable of. But it’s not just their voices that I am transfixed by, it’s their absolute presence, the love they clearly have for each other and the joy they so clearly reap from singing together. I come away from watching these beautiful performances feeling uplifted and happy to have been able to share in their passion. ❤️❤️❤️
You said it perfectly! What they're doing is so much more than sing songs. The songs themselves are serving as a medium of communicating their love for one another and for these songs to their audience, in such a tangible way that you cannot but listen to them sing these songs again and again.

What I really love about their videos apart from the spectacular talent, is how proud the father is of his little girl when she sings. You can see it on his face, how happy and elated he is about his daughter being such incredibly gifted.
Sometimes I'm very jealous that some people get all the talent. I have many talents, but singing just isn't my best thing. I love them. But I'm am so jealous that not everyone is blessed with such beautiful voices. It makes them even more special, though. 😊

Your talent, as I see it now, is that you are honest with yourself and us. And even though you feel you are lacking in what others may have, you are still able to lift them up (by saying "It makes them even more special...") instead of breaking them down.
Yes, your honesty is a talent, and everyone is jealous at some point, but how you act on it is what matters more. You acted by being honest, addressing the problem, and seeing the people you are jealous of as higher up, it is very selfless, just remember you are important too! And you are appreciated, but most of all when this is all over God will welcome his people into his paradise and say “well done, good and faithful servant” and your many talents will be revealed, some we couldn’t even image on this earth. I first ‘discovered’ Mat and Savannah’s channel purely by chance, as these songs have never been my thing and I’ve never been to a musical in my life. I thought I’d watch a video to see what it was about, and I was instantly hooked! Their voices are beyond incredible, beyond beautiful and beyond anything I could imagine two non professional singers would possibly be capable of. But it’s not just their voices that I am transfixed by, it’s their absolute presence, the love they clearly have for each other and the joy they so clearly reap from singing together. I come away from watching these beautiful performances feeling uplifted and happy to have been able to share in their passion. ❤️❤️❤️
You said it perfectly! What they're doing is so much more than sing songs. The songs themselves are serving as a medium of communicating their love for one another and for these songs to their audience, in such a tangible way that you cannot but listen to them sing these songs again and again.

Sometimes I'm very jealous that some people get all the talent. I have many talents, but singing just isn't my best thing. I love them. But I'm am so jealous that not everyone is blessed with such beautiful voices. It makes them even more special, though. 😊
I don't have talents either but mabey our talents are hidden and beautiful too . Maybe God will show what our talents were and that we made a difference in the world too . We just couldn't see them in this life
Your talent, as I see it now, is that you are honest with yourself and us. And even though you feel you are lacking in what others may have, you are still able to lift them up (by saying "It makes them even more special...") instead of breaking them down.
Yes, your honesty is a talent, and everyone is jealous at some point, but how you act on it is what matters more. You acted by being honest, addressing the problem, and seeing the people you are jealous of as higher up, it is very selfless, just remember you are important too! And you are appreciated, but most of all when this is all over God will welcome his people into his paradise and say “well done, good and faithful servant” and your many talents will be revealed, some we couldn’t even image on this earth. I hope you focus on your talents and using them to love, I hope you know you are appreciated, and you do have many talents! Have a good day!
