We're assuming the destruction was the result of extreme separation anxiety. Thanks he displays it no by trying to stop people putting on their shoes and barking up a storm as we get ready to leave (and when we come back). It's cute as hell, if you're not his target :D

And then a fight would start. She always “won” ( she’d get him on the ground swiftly and I’d intervene because I did not want vet bills). Other than that he was simply the sweetest dog.

Had a D&D session where the DM's dog was always present. 'For Luck' people would ask the dog to bless their dice. But if the dice fell on the floor be prepared to wrestle that dog to try to get the dice out of his mouth. We should have just written up a character sheet and let the dog play a bard.
Our DM had an old lady cat that would be too scared to hang out with us. But if she sat in his lap, the session was automatically good. Didn't matter what happened, immediately "that was a great session!"
I recall hearing about a campaign where one of the characters had to leave for a couple of minutes, a cat took his seat (as cats do), and apparently the cat liked swatting at the dice if they were in front of them... so the other members decided to keep going with the cat playing for the guy who left, and even after he returned, kept the cat as a character. xD
Dog should definitely be a Cleric. You said you ask him to bless you all the time. He's the goodest boy. Could absolutely rock your world if you make him mad. Yeah Cleric checks out.

Golden Retriever as Bard is 100% accurate. Though, I could see them as a really clumsy, goofy, happy cleric who annoyed everyone at the temple with their positive attitude and so were sent out to help people in the world.

My Medical Alert SD pom would be like I can do DMT, first aid and be there emotionally when PTSD kicks in. (I have siezures and low BP). Hes very mellow and his temperment is like chill. He loves when people touch him. Its interesting cause Ive played Clerics in D&D and in MMORPGS in the past. He would be a great companion in doing Cleric quests with me. 🤣
In my opinion it's the best thing on earth, but it does take some commitment. Though I will say there are far easier systems than D&D. But D&D is very fun as well.
Spot on with the Pom!! My Pom was a sweet angel that definitely had the don’t touch me moments. But still loved to cuddle most of the time. Definitely got some side eye from him when he got annoyed from being mauled!! Lol. He was the best!!

More likely, the Druid is actually a Wolfdog or a cat Wild Shaping as a dog. Labrador Retriever could easily be Fighter because they’re a very versatile breed, or Warlock because they’re so eager to please.
Hounds or killer of trolls. One of my adopted tree walking hound (they showed up and never left) loves to bring dead animals into the house. 1st time dead squirrel stuck in dog door. After that figured how to bring them in. Also inanimate objects someone's dog bowl a full loaf of bread to name a few. To her lair just recently walked into a room to find a dead groundhog. I can deal with the squirrels this was awful had to have a you can do this text chat and borrowed a big as shovel. She does love a good scratch behind the ears
It's been bugging me like crazy but you and Jim Carrey are so similar. You both can make anything good & funny. You both have such amazingly expressive faces that can change to something opposite in a second. You two would be great in a movie. I would say a comedy for sure.
Oh, I love this. Brings back memories of my D&D club in high school. I played Wood Elf Druid, using herbalism kits for wound healing and to counteract poison and venoms. I was also mostly the night watch, due to elves needing less rest than the other characters. And I love the name I got to give my character. Good times☺️😊
