- I was after a cordless lawn mower for a few months and I finally got my hands on the Bosch EasyRotak 36-550!

Looks a great mower, I also went cordless this year and it doesn't half make a difference, mowing actually becomes enjoyable with no messing around with extension cables and constantly flinging wires out of your way.
For anyone else looking for a cheaper alternative, I went with the Yard Force 32cm cordless mower, I was sceptical of it at first but I absolutely cannot fault it for the price.
I ended up looking at that many, I couldn't decide which to buy! Going cordless has been a massive game changer though, it has saved me so much faff!
Bought this with 20% discount from Homebase yesterday. Very happy. £280 seems a decent price all things considered

Thanks for the video, i am planning to get one, but i heard there are negative feedback about battery life. How is your experience?
I wouldn't worry about the battery life. My lawns aren't huge, I just have a small patch at the front with a grass verge and my lawn at the back. I only charge the battery every couple of weeks. I go out every 3-4 days to cut the lawn so I'm getting quite a bit of use out of it.
Does it take Bosch 6Ah 36V batteries? I have a few of them, but not sure if they fit the gap. Seems like the Advanced Rotak 36-890 is the only one taking 6Ah on their website, but is not available anymore in Belgium. From Bosch site:
6Ah = 105 x 160 x 80 mm
4Ah = 180 x 100 x 100 mm
2Ah = 155 x 100 x 80 mm
When I slow down your video it seems like the 4Ah is allready at it's widest in the gap. So the 6Ah which is wider won't fit I guess... Can I cut/dremel out more space???
Can you use the 18v battery on this? I have lots of bosch tools with 18v battery and charger.
Can't use the 18v in this unfortunately. Which is quite frustrating with them being the same brand.

Hi ! I bought it after seeing many videos here. But the battery got stocked after using in in the winter , now I can’t take it out. Does anyone experienced the same problem ? It’s really stocked 😳

Great video! Thanks. The UX of this thing is so so dumb. I still cant turn my mum's one on to cut her grass. It's not covered in the manual and the key thing is absolutely remedial. Despite a full battery and the key in place, nothing is happening. Idiotic. I had to come to your video for answers but it still hasnt solved it.

Dude... you should go harder into some thick grass on that review ... this grass presented no resistance.
You shouldn't be taking too much off at once, it can damage the mower. Little and often is the best course of action.
650 Bosch rotak lwa 96 db broke down in less than two years £370 share bqq I won't buy one of these again
