I never met my paternal grandfather who was born in Galicia, Spain, and was involved in the Spanish Civil War He is said to have fled Spain, traveling to NYC as a stowaway; where he met my grandmother - who was originally from Ponce, Puerto Rico. My wish is to travel to Spain (BEFORE my transition) to meet any relatives I may have there.
