They released hotfix #4 and their discord says the following: • Fixed an issue that on framerates above 60fps the mouse wheel could skip steps (mostly in the action bar and building menu). Unsure why all the other buttons stopped working though. I agree with you that's a driver issue or maybe the program that controls is mouse crashed (such as razer synapse for razer products).
Regarding your scrollwheel, might be your settings. Ex. one click equals 3 or more. Also known as fast scrolling. Just an idea. Have fun and take care.

The first hour really didnt grip me. 40 hours of Palworld and just wasnt feeling it. Glad i stuck with it, as it is a really solid and promising game. Still hate that you need a quest and special crafting item for building and crafting from the inventory. Palworld completely spoiled me with this.
So he's getting 1-10 stone from harvesting rocks, and it takes 256 stone to build a single small foundation? ehh seems way off. Think this game needs more time to cook.
2 Stone becomes 100 stone blocks, and you can literally quarry the stone from the ground or a cliff with a pickaxe. Also it seems that all terrain and resources outside of your build area respawn/reset when you log out.
My only gripe with valheim is how is it that a survival game with some of the best building, gonna make it so unoptimized that building anything bigger than a medium sized house makes your game lag even on beefy PCs? I love building in Valheim but it's infuriating that the game artificially limits your creativity since you can't build big without lagging terribly
Hate to be that gal.... but this game isn't really "it" :/ I was also "hyped" or at least hopeful, hadn't seen anything of it really. Had one of my friends recommend checking it out and...yeaaah, hard pass. So glad palworld is around now, cause I can just go back to that lol.
I felt the same but for palworld honestly, but then again i was always more into valheim and not so much into arc. Also never had much contact to the pokemon universe. I really like diggi g deeo into the building systems of these games and this game certainly has a very solid building system with a lot if content.
Could you explain why it’s a hard pass for you? I’ve seen nothing but raving reviews with only minor issues that really don’t look like they’d ruin the experience.
The gameplay loop and optimization in palworld totally drops off after about 60 hours, don't expect to get much out of it long term, remember its an early access game.

Theres also a bug that locks you at 60hz on your monitor, thats probably why it looks off

It's the FSR settings making things look fuzzy. I disabled FSR and the graphics are much clearer.

No, it takes that many stone blocks. You craft stone blocks from the stone. It doesn't take much stone.
