In the period from 1980 to 1989, a radiation incident occurred in the city of Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, Ukrainian SSR.
A significant number of residents of the panel house located at Gvardeytsev-Kantemirovtsev (now house No. 7 on Maria Priymachenko Street) received radiation exposure, a significant dose of gamma radiation.
