I am not the smartest person around but pretty sure I would have pulled the truck into the garage to unload it.
I paid under 3k with all accessories, wiring, computer, etc... for my 2010 6.7 and runs perfect. It's in my daily driver. I had another I couldn't have rebuilt for what I paid.

bout to buy my first cummins this spring. Ive saved up a good amount and the truck im in now is decent trade in. Deciding on a 3g with some bigger power mods for cheaper or a more mild built 4g.

Cylinder walls look very glazed. If you can read words off the reflection of the cylinder wall, it needs a fresh hone.
What does Greg say for oil change intervals on his stuff just curious?
I recommend 5k for gas vehicles and diesel pickups. 10k for semis

it's a shame that nowadays to make any engine especially a diesel last long enough to even pay for itself much less have any equity at all you have to remove everything the government mandates that they claim makes it better...why is a engine that's choked up runs like shit is extremely unreliable and doesn't last even 150k miles anymore better than a free flowing engine that lasts 3-400k miles that gets 3-5mpg better???
