I don't understand how taking an opportunity for your kid makes them a bad person? There is no connection between taking every chance you get & not being a good person, it's like they totally changed the topic I normally don't like Leslie, she is just too dramatic for me, but in this case I understand her point better than the other moms & if you watch Patyon's YT, she is a very kind girl & some things were edited to make her look rude Definitely not a bad person Don't get me wrong, I totally agree with everything Holly said, but I don't understand what it was supposed to mean in that specific context, because Leslie said nothing about Patyon doing anything that would make her not a good person

i think it’s because people will join team solely for the opportunities and not actually work to be apart of the team, it makes them bad as a person because they’re taking advantage of other people who are also trying to get opportunities for their girls but also willing to give them up and be committed
You know what ? I see all the moms say that they would rather "be a good person" than have a solo and jump the moms that own up to the fact that they are going to take advantage of every opportunity for their child but I didn't see Christi or Kelly turn down a solo at nationals because Nia never had the opportunity to do one. They took it and didn't say to Abby that it was unfair ...
Being a good person doesn't mean that you have to turn down opportunities for yourself.

The editing of the show means we missed a lot that was said. You could tell by the the fact that Holly said ahe would rather Nia be a good person that something was said that would be considered raising your child not to be a good person if it means she is successful.

Asia mom fought all the time on audc abbys ultimate dance competition but now she says that she doesn't fight and she is tired with all the moms.holly is so right they are raising people and they should be good people before a good dancer.leslie just wants fame and fortune .Leslie makes it about her and does not really care what her daughter thinks.she wants Peyton to be on Broadway but every week she fights with someone and gets kicked off because of it.magically the next week she is back on the team.once she got kicked she should have had only one chance to be a part of the junior elite team just like brooke,paige,and Chloe did and they got yelled at everyday and Leslie takes advantage of it and thinks that she can do whatever she wants and she will stay on the team
