I have that Eastman E40D TC in a sunburst. It's brand new and it looks so beautiful. I'm wondering what kind of strings you have on yours. Your guitar sounds great. I have DAddario XS 12 to53 phosphor bronze on mine which it says they are shipped with, but I'm finding that the strings sound kind of metallic, and the B string has a very unpleasant sitar sound. Also, it seems that some of the strings are being pinched in the nut slots which makes it hard to keep in tune, and it effects the sound of the notes. I'm really disappointed about it. Do you think it might be better to put 11's on it, or maybe a different brand of strings? I would appreciate any info. you might be able to give me. Thanks...

We use D'addario XS Strings, for acoustic guitars its .12 It might be that the string was a bit to low in the nut or the relief wasn't exact. That being said, this is a very old demo and we like to think that our standards have gone up a bit! So sorry for the inconvenience on your enjoyment regarding this video, hope you can enjoy those that follow in the future.

Great playing! What’s the deal with thermo cured wood?

Thanks bruno! It's a process to cure new wood so that it responds in the same kind of way that an older guitar would. So it sounds like it's played in for years instead ;)
