You prolly won’t see this but whenever I go onto ar mode it just shows bushes and I was wondering how you fix that and I have to find the Pokémon instead of it just spawning
So not sure if this is known. But you can use the skip trick with one hand u just have to use two fingers. So ur slide the ball with finger then use another finger to pick up ball and throw so 2 fingers will be on screen at a time. Sorry if that doesn’t make sense
Hey Billy - if you happen to see this I wanted to say thanks for all the tips but also I want to try the shiny change glitch you made a vlog about. Seems like a good event to do it. I have locals wanting to test as well for research
Great stuff Billy!! I've started this trick for half a year now and it is game changer me. My opinion is that is more optimized on CDs and spotlight hours since the pokemon is always the same and you know where exactly the pokemon sits on your screen. Other tip I suggest is to put a paper between the phone and the case to cover the cameras. This helps a lot to minimize the motion sickness and fully concentrate on the pokemon object instead on other thingsin the background.
A quick tip if youre playing outside and using ar mode every time what is going to happen let me break it down for you. 1. camera is just another sensor in device it will close and open very fast causing device to heat. 2. this way you will burn more battery + if you keep your device connected to a battery while performing this trick, the device will overheat. 3. take care of your device health it does not matter if you catch or check less mons.
Why is it that when I do the AR mode, I have to click on the hmgrass for the Pokémon to show up? Why does your show up without clicking on grass. Please help!!!!! This is taking as much time as regular animation
Yes, it's fast and very efficient especially in com days you want to grind for candy or dust, not so much when grinding for XP like in the upcoming Starly's com day. My 2 issues are: One, excellent throws become a real challenge which you can work on because just like in the regular mode it's 100% muscle memory. Two, you actually have to hold your phone up in front of you, which makes it seem like you're recording. This could get you some weird looks and/or comments on the street, and it actually got me in trouble with a random person who thought I was pulling up on him (trying to do something stupid to him and record it) while I was simply playing Pokemon Go smh. Obviously this guy over reacted and even though he kept insulting me from 2 blocks away, I did put myself in his shoes and tbh you do look strange as hell playing in AR mode. It simply looks like you're recording/taking pictures, and if you're not aware of your surroundings, well it could seem like you're recording/taking pictures of other people who 10 times out 10 don't want that :/
Hey Billy off u turn off sensors on phone n do AR it makes the pokemon stay still n not move the phone screen around to catch the pokemon Daxi has a video on it
I’ve tried this AR mode before and it’s always the same. My app still has me “searching” to find the Pokémon by clicking and looking around for the Pokémon. The Pokémon doesn’t just pop up like this.
Yeah, I was going to say this but was driving, not everyone has backup batteries so this is per use case on when to do this. It's about 50m less of battery when I do this on my ASUS ROG 3. Which has one bulky battery to begin with.
I put a few pieces of paper or something in between my camera and my phone case when using this method, so I don't get distracted by everything in the background
dont know if anyone else has this problem on android but the pokemon constantly keeps moving even if I dont move the phone/ camera at all. No idea why and how to fix it
@@mitzki1214 Why not? There are raids on both days and 10 raid passes per day. With lucky eggs it is 400k XP just from raiding and if you catch even 500 pokemon with an excellent and lucky egg that makes an easy million. 500 mons in 8 hours shouldn't be difficult. I am myself aiming for 2.7 million XP over the weekend.
Off topic, but Pokemon Go TCG comes out in a month, are you going to cover that in one of your videos? I believe sooner would be better cause product has been steadily climbing in price and it would be better for the community to know this sooner than later.
Thanks for this video. It is really helpful. It is better than watching you do AR fast catch in your live stream and learning that way. However, is there a trick of making an excellent throw in AR fast catch every time? I'm aiming at 2,700 excellent throws during the Go Fest (I need 2.7 million XP for level 49) and I am still thinking if AR fast catch is the way to go.
pretty darn sure this is an Easter egg since they actually FIXED the I forgot to run away and now need to restart issue we had when these were first discovered. Fixed 2x actually First fixed with being able to reset in game with another catch and now completely fixed!

Pokedaxi made a short video about some settings for Android phones, which makes it easier and faster. A proper video where you explain, would be great

Let’s go!! Appreciate the support
Does it matter if I have AR+ off in settings? I have if off for quicker buddy interactions (instant instead of "find a spot")

If you have an android, you can turn off sensors in your settings and when you encounter a pokemon in ar mode it'll stay in the middle of the screen
This is the best comment on yt that I've ever read

If ur phone can disable sensor u dont need to do that

Turn off Niantic AR (AR+) in setting first. Then turn on AR in a wild encounter.

Thank you for the great tips as always
Always
On Android 10+ you can turn sensors off so that the pokemon stays fixed in the center
Put a sticky note on your phone, in front of your camera and the Pokémon will stay be pretty centered while you quick catch in AR mode
I appreciate you bringing back ( Here we go ) lol
Gotta do it sometimes

Why does my ar make me click to make the Pokémon appear?
Great for stardust but I would imagine not so great for XP. Would be extremely difficult to hit great and excellent throws in AR mode
It’s challenging but can be done. There’s videos out there on like twitter of top people doing this just one after another
Definitely a challenge but if you do it on the right Pokémon it will slay
Don’t focus on XP at go-fest

They patched AR. You can still fast catch but not in AR as fast as before.
Battery life plus challenge of wobbly Pokémon and spawn position. It's not worth it, AR mode good for stationary poke stop boosts sure.
This is how I play on comm day and any big event. Catch and go. Catch and go. While my Gotcha is picking up the stops.
I tried this for the end of Mudkip day, I basically only had success if I used ultra balls, since I couldn’t for the life of me get throw bonuses😂
This dont work i have to look around help
