The radio was in the kitchen and I was a little kid when my mother listened to Bill. Little did I know how this treasure would affect me and stay with me. Now that I am about to be 77, I thank God we can continue to hear the Truth in all of its beauty through Bill💓💞God is surely with us!
I so miss Bill Pearce... he prayed for me one night on air as I was going through a difficult time. His voice and personality was spiritually soothing.
I vividly remember listening to Night Sounds in 1971, when it was called Night Watch. I was a young man, a product of "The Jesus Revolution". I listened late at night on an AM station in Albany, Oregon. I was always inspired as I was growing in my faIth. The Debussy tune Beau Soir still moves me whenever I hear it as I fondly remember those wonderful days of growing in Christ, and the sun was shining brightly in the Spring time of my life. Now, 52 years later, I am still moved by the program, as I served as a pastor for over 40 years and now travel throughout the world teaching young pastors. God is good and I am thankful for these programs that still inspire me. Thank you for posting them.
I used to listen to Nightsounds as a teenager in the early/mid '70's. The show was an amazing blessing to me. I love the programs' theme song. Claude Debussey's Beau Soir...Beautiful Evening. I teach at a community college and sometimes play the musical selection in class as a listenng exercise. Students often connect to it. The song has interesting lyrics as well. The program lives on to bless others.

I received bad news today. Thank you for this
I would like to find the episode called "The Tender Heart." One of my very favorites and I had it on CD but can't find it after we moved.
Thank you
I always felt a bit sad when “Beau Soir” played again at the end, because it meant Bill was “leaving” and I wanted him to stay longer.
this was on 100.7(I think)in the Philly market about 20 yrs ago.
