To think that that was the very last time ever she moved before being broken up and scrapped. Sad times.
    Great video!
That'd have cleared your sinuses standing right next to her on arrival!

What a superb sight of all those beautiful British invented machines!!! I cant believe we gave up on hovercraft like we did with Concorde and the Harrier????? We gave away all our inventions to America and other countries WHY??

The hovercraft and Concorde were loss making ventures that's why they failed. The harrier never failed, it was a success, it just became to long in the tooth eventually. It was in service for how long and for how many nations? You don't know what you're talking bout.

At the time, the museum would've had The Princess Margaret, The Princess Anne and Swift. Sadly now, only The Princess Anne remains...

And then they let it sit there for 18 years only to let some clown in a digger break it up!
Once we were a great country and look at where we are now! SAD...

Could the sedam N500 have done that ? I think not. The only successful part of it were the propellers, which were reused on the N4s.

Hello. Would I be allowed to upload this video to my channel as I am a big fan of that hovercraft but I couldn't record that happening. I would love to upload it to my channel and would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
