Great video! Morgan was killed by Frank Stilwell, aided by Pete Spence, a man named Fries, another named Bode, with two half-breed Indians, Hank Swilling and Indian Charlie, acting as lookouts. Wyatt blamed Ringo and Curly Bill, but I don't believe they had anything to do with it. Ike's hat was found at the site from which Virgil was crippled, or so it is said. But did grown men really write their names inside their hats? And yeah, Ringo committed suicide. It makes the most sense. I hope Casey does more videos!
Wow, to find anything on Johnny Ringo is inspiring and the quality of this video, with noted expert Casey Tefertiller (love that name) is like a treasure hunt fulfilled. Any experienced student of Old West history will admit that the death of Johnny Ringo is one of the greatest mysteries of the subject, some might say, unsolved, to this day. Recently his Colt Single Action pistol, verified by serial number as 222, and some of his rare biographical material appeared at auction and was acquired by a WWHA member and thereby preserved for further study. Still remaining however, are details of his early life, but there is no doubt that he remains one of the most iconic and interesting characters of the Old West. This video helps mucho! Thanks and Viva to the WWHA!
I have read several good researched books by author’s of the Earps, cowboys(outlaws). Funny thing is these guys back then never wildest dreams would be celebrities thru all the years. All research will never know all, I believe they took to their grave. Even though Wyatt Earp was the last of them, never told all. I am re-enactor of Old West in Az Territory (State) again read many books amazing info. -Kid Yuma
Thanks for your perspective, follows several other views, With a couple more insights. The only thing that could make it better is if all the background discourse wasn’t so distracting for us and at several points you as well.
I do not understand your comment about "Jews." Reference background noise. It was the only place in the building that was somewhat quiet. We attempted to motion for people that walked by to walk and talk softly, but some just ignored us. It was our only opportunity to video Casey.
Doc Holliday done that that movie Tombstone was fantastic movie I've always believed that Doc Holliday was the one who killed Johnny Ringo and still to this day I will still believe that that movie should have been about Doc Holliday Wyatt Earp wasn't all people thought he was

That was a horrible typo, I corrected it, I really appreciate your content, and heard some things I haven’t heard before. Thanks for what you do.
Curly Bill, Johnny Ringo ... a couple of hard cases with cool names and short, tragic lives.
