I am always fascinated in watching people's mouth when they talk. As a non-native english speaker, watching the shape of the mouth helps me mimic the natives' pronunciation. This guy's lip movement makes me feel like talking is easy and I am not needing a subtitle. The hardest thing to copy when he talks is the way the upper lip always curl upside 😅
Cool video! But, I think if you're going for a capsule wardrobe there are more versatile sneakers than those tan vans authentics (maybe Stan Smiths?), and I would've mentioned that the tees should be a premium fabric if you're going to use them as more than an undershirt.

I have that same green jacket. It's a Swedish 70s military jacket. I've had mine for years. Insanely comfortable and practical and has now taken on new life as I've repaired the hell out of it in an almost harlequin fashion. Certainly doesn't look as simple and classy anymore.

To quote Ryan Gosling, "the nice thing about being a guy is you can reinvent your entire wardrobe with like 16 items". All I'd add is to say: try to get items with interesting patterns or weaves because otherwise you're just bland (you'll wind up looking like a Nintendo Mii). And Pay attention to the cultural history of the clothes you're wearing so you know what should go with what for what event or activity.

The fit of the dark blue jeans fit your body great. I have seen several others and some sorta remind me of how Clint Eastwood wore his pants..but.... he didn't have the body you and his sons have. Though he was swimmer fit. My 2nd husband was too... but ... more if a gymnast, swimmer, martial arts, cyclist fit. He was military and mixed Asian. His father was slender but stalky chest, more body builder type and his mom was Korean. So a smaller build but evenly proportioned..so.. because he actually had a tush and thicker calves then typical Asian, he fit 501 jeans perfectly. If you recall the shrink to fit. Id buy 32 and later 34 in because his waist was 28/29 in when we started dating, and 29/30 , maybe even 31 in by the time he retired military. He later wore more military style pants because of his job. Comfy w/pockets he could carry testing equipment or ?? . But still fit nicely in his jeans. Crazy how he stayed fit without all the work. It's disgusted me.. lol.. but he couldn't keep up with my jazzersize and dance. 😊

The one on the coat hanger when he gets to "5. Lightweight jacket"? It's a Swedish M/59 uniform jacket, with a collar tab from the artillery. I was very surprised to see one on this channel, but thinking about it, it kind of makes sense?
The one thing a tailor can't fix easily is SHOULDERS. Waist, sleeves, pant legs... All of these are easy, so long as it fits your shoulders. Otherwise they're going to have to basically take the piece completely apart and remake it.

My step up from wndbreaker was a harrington jacket. It still surprise me how many trousers can go with it-from jeans up to flannel trousers ♥
